🐴✨ A Day to Remember at British Royal School Summer Camp! ✨🐴

This week our campers enjoyed an unforgettable equestrian adventure! From gently grooming beautiful horses and learning how to care for them, to riding in traditional horse-drawn carriages, every moment was filled with excitement, curiosity and smiles.

Experiences like these help children build confidence, responsibility, empathy and a deep respect for animals and nature. Watching them connect with the horses was truly heartwarming.

Learning goes far beyond the classroom, and was a perfect reminder that the best memories are made through real-life experiences.

🤩Another fantastic Week at British Royal School Summer Camp! 🌈

What an incredible week it has been at our Summer Camp! Our campers have had an absolutely wonderful time, creating unforgettable memories, making new friends, and enjoying every moment together.

One of the highlights of the week was our exciting visit to the Aquapark, where everyone had an amazing time splashing, laughing, and making the most of the beautiful summer weather. It was a day full of fun, excitement, and smiles from start to finish.

Back at camp, our children have taken part in a wide variety of engaging activities, including sports, team challenges, creative arts and crafts, outdoor games, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play. Every day has brought something new, encouraging confidence, teamwork, creativity, and, above all, happiness.

Seeing our campers arrive each morning with such enthusiasm and leave each afternoon with smiles on their faces is the greatest reward for our team. We are so proud of the positive atmosphere we have created together, where every child feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to enjoy every moment of their summer.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for their dedication and enthusiasm, and to all our families for placing their trust in us.

We can’t wait to see what next week has in store. The summer adventures continue! ☀️💙

Today, our students proudly completed their Camino de Santiago journey after three unforgettable days of walking, learning, and growing together.

Throughout the experience, they challenged themselves physically, supported one another every step of the way, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Along the route, they discovered beautiful landscapes, learned about the rich history and culture of the Camino, and developed important values such as resilience, teamwork, and determination.

We are incredibly proud of their positive attitude, perseverance, and spirit throughout this amazing adventure.

🌍🍽️ International Food Day at British Royal School 🍽️🌍

Today, we celebrated our International Food Day, a reminder that food is far more than nourishment; it is a language through which cultures tell their stories, preserve their traditions, and connect with one another.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the families who contributed so generously to this event. Thanks to your enthusiasm and participation, our students were able to experience a rich variety of dishes from different parts of the world, discovering how every meal reflects the history, values, and identity of a people.

Throughout the day, students sampled foods from many countries and gained a broader perspective on the diversity that enriches our global community. In sharing these flavours and traditions, they were also sharing ideas, experiences, and ways of seeing the world.

Thank you to all our families for helping to make this day such a meaningful and memorable occasion. Events like these remind us that understanding often begins with something as simple and as profound as sharing a meal.

🍰✨ Year 8 Students Bake Wonderful Sponge Cakes! ✨🍰

Our Year 8 students have been putting their culinary skills into practice by baking some wonderful sponge cakes during their Cooking lesson. The results were fantastic, with beautifully baked cakes that looked and tasted delicious!

In our British Curriculum, Cooking is part of Design and Technology, helping students develop important life skills through practical learning. Lessons focus on food preparation techniques, nutrition, food safety and hygiene, recipe planning, and understanding the importance of a balanced diet.

Cooking also encourages creativity, independence, problem-solving, and teamwork, giving students valuable skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.

♟️♟️ A proud achievement for our Royal School Chess Club♟️♟️

Our students from the Royal School after-school Chess Club recently participated in the Pequeños Gigantes Championship in A Coruña, a prestigious team chess tournament that brings together young players from schools and clubs across the region. The competition encourages not only strategic thinking and concentration, but also collaboration, discipline and sportsmanship.

We are delighted to announce that our team finished in an impressive 5th place out of 32 teams. 🎉

This excellent result reflects the students’ dedication, perseverance and enthusiasm for the game. We congratulate all of our players for representing Royal School with such commitment and integrity throughout the championship. We could not be prouder of their achievement. ♟️👏
