🚀 FUTURE-STEM-HUB comes to an end, but its impact continues!

This Erasmus+ project brought together the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany), Tetra Solutions (Bulgaria), Kütahya Provincial Directorate of National Education (Türkiye), COOPETAPE (Portugal) and M&M Profuture Training (Spain).

Together, we developed and tested AI courses and practical resources for secondary school students and teachers. In Spain, the activities were carried out with the valuable collaboration of Escola Internacional Teide.

Este proyecto Erasmus+ ha reunido a la Universidad de Duisburg-Essen (Alemania), Tetra Solutions (Bulgaria), la Dirección Provincial de Educación Nacional de Kütahya (Turquía), COOPETAPE (Portugal) y M&M Profuture Training (España).

Juntos hemos desarrollado y probado cursos y recursos prácticos sobre inteligencia artificial para alumnado y profesorado de secundaria. En España, las actividades se realizaron con la valiosa colaboración de la Escola Internacional Teide.

🤖 FUTURE-STEM-HUB: the project ends, but its resources remain!

On 31 August 2026, the Erasmus+ project FUTURE-STEM-HUB officially comes to an end after a European journey dedicated to strengthening Artificial Intelligence and STEM education in secondary schools.

Throughout the project, partners worked together to develop practical and accessible educational resources for students and teachers:

📘 Two free AI courses for secondary school students
💻 Practical activities using Python and Scratch
👩‍🏫 An E-Toolkit with 12 lesson plans for teachers
🌍 Educational resources available in six languages
🎓 Teacher training activities
🤖 Workshops and an AI contest involving students

The project may be concluding, but its results will remain freely available to support schools, teachers and students in exploring Artificial Intelligence through engaging and practical STEM learning.

💻 On 4 August 2026, the FUTURE-STEM-HUB partners met online for a final follow-up and project closure meeting.

During the meeting, the consortium reviewed the activities carried out, the dissemination actions, the project’s final results and the remaining steps required to successfully complete the project.

Although FUTURE-STEM-HUB is coming to an end, its free educational resources will remain available to help teachers and secondary school students explore Artificial Intelligence through practical and engaging STEM learning:

🇵🇹✈️🇪🇸 The INSIGNARE students have completed their Erasmus+ experience in Barcelona!

After a month and a half of learning, professional growth and new experiences, Afonso, Sandro, Santiago, Rafael, Tomás and Rúben have returned to Portugal. 💜

During their stay in Barcelona, the six students from INSIGNARE – Escola Profissional de Ourém (Portugal) completed professional internships at different local companies:

🍽️ Rafael and Tomás at Restaurant La Poma
🔧 Rúben at Auto Moreno Bertrán

This Erasmus+ mobility allowed them to apply their knowledge in real working environments, develop professional and personal skills, discover new ways of working and gain valuable international experience. 🌍

M&M Profuture Training would like to sincerely thank all the host companies for welcoming and supporting the students throughout their internships. Their collaboration is essential to providing high-quality Erasmus+ mobility experiences.

🇵🇹✈️🇪🇸 Chegou ao fim a experiência Erasmus+ dos alunos da INSIGNARE em Barcelona!

Após um mês e meio de aprendizagem, crescimento e novas experiências, Afonso, Sandro, Santiago, Rafael, Tomás e Rúben regressaram a Portugal. 💜

Durante a sua estadia em Barcelona, os seis alunos da INSIGNARE – Escola Profissional de Ourém (Portugal) realizaram estágios profissionais em diferentes empresas locais:

📣 Jornada final del projecte europeu EDSAW: “Competències per al futur”

El pròxim 3 de setembre de 2026, us convidem al Castell de Cornellà a una jornada dedicada a les competències digitals i personals, l’aprenentatge permanent i l’ocupabilitat de les persones majors de 50 anys.

Durant la jornada presentarem els recursos i resultats desenvolupats en el marc del projecte europeu EDSAW i compartirem experiències, necessitats, barreres i propostes per afavorir la inclusió digital i laboral de la població +50.

🌍 The European Future-STEM Hub project reaches its final stage in Essen

The project partners gathered in Essen, Germany, to review the results achieved and take part in the final conference, “Exploring the AI-Driven Future”, held on 15 July at the University of Duisburg-Essen.

The event brought together teachers, education professionals and other stakeholders interested in exploring the possibilities of artificial intelligence in STEM education through presentations, practical examples and interactive workshops.

M&M Profuture Training presented “AI-Enhanced STEM Lesson Planning”, a contribution focusing on the use of artificial intelligence to support STEM lesson planning and on the resources developed to help teachers apply it in their classrooms.

The meeting in Essen marked the conclusion of an enriching period of European cooperation, learning and educational innovation. The materials created during the project will remain available to teachers, schools and other organisations.

🌍 El proyecto europeo Future-STEM Hub llega a su etapa final en Essen

Los socios del proyecto nos reunimos en Essen, Alemania, para revisar los resultados alcanzados y celebrar la conferencia final “Exploring the AI-Driven Future”, que tuvo lugar el 15 de julio en la Universidad de Duisburg-Essen.

La jornada reunió a docentes, profesionales de la educación y otros agentes interesados en explorar las posibilidades de la inteligencia artificial en la educación STEM mediante presentaciones, ejemplos prácticos y talleres interactivos.

M&M Profuture Training presentó “AI-Enhanced STEM Lesson Planning”, una contribución centrada en la planificación de lecciones STEM con el apoyo de la inteligencia artificial y en los recursos desarrollados para facilitar su aplicación por parte del profesorado.

El encuentro de Essen puso el broche final a una enriquecedora etapa de cooperación europea, aprendizaje e innovación educativa. Los materiales creados durante el proyecto continuarán disponibles para docentes, centros educativos y otras organizaciones.
