🌟 What does it take to become a great leader?

🎤 At BSB Sitges, our Leadership Masterclasses bring together Years 5 and 6 pupils with BSB staff and inspiring external speakers to explore what leadership means in different contexts and learn from real-life experiences.

💡 Throughout the programme, students have developed key leadership skills through topics including creativity, empathy, problem-solving, public speaking, respect, responsibility and storytelling. Each interactive session encourages them to reflect, ask questions and discover their own leadership potential.

💙 A huge thank you to every BSB colleague and guest speaker who generously shared their time, knowledge and experiences with our students throughout the programme. And, of course, thank you to all our young leaders for your enthusiasm, curiosity and thoughtful reflections—you can read some of their feedback in this post!

🧠 What does Hard Thinking look like at every stage of learning?

At BSB, Hard Thinking is about embracing challenge, asking questions and developing the confidence to think deeply.

💡 As our students grow, so do their thinking skills. Hard Thinking evolves throughout every stage of their learning journey, with the level of challenge and independence increasing over time. Here's what Hard Thinking looks like across our school:

🔹In Early Years: Exploring, questioning and discovering through play.
🔹In Primary: Solving problems, making connections and explaining thinking.
🔹In Secondary & Pre-University: Analysing evidence, debating ideas, applying knowledge and developing the independence to think critically.
