SE(a)STAIN is a construction workshop that will take place during EASA 011 ( European Architecture Assembly) from the 23rd of July untill the 7th of August in the port city Cadiz, Spain. It was selected by EASA, out of 108 workshop-applications and will be realized during two intensive weeks by architecture students from over whole Europe and Latin America (CLEA).

our container arrived at the easa site yesterday... let's get things started!
tomorrow we leave for Cadiz already! we hope to arrange as much as we can before all participants arrive on saturday. see you there!

check out our blog for the final design! we are taking care of the last arrangements to get all of the materials together: exciting!
seastain Yesterday we had a last meeting with Bureau Bouwtechniek. The design changed a lot past four months, even the concept changed. SE(a)STAIN will be an experimental design, based on physics and using the local sea climate to cool down and sometimeds heat the container.

Our team had an amazing brainstorm session at BB on Monday the 16th! More information, will be given in two weeks! Now it's Masterdissertation-time... Good luck to all the students who have to prepare their exams! Hasta la proxima!
