The graduating students of the College of Teacher Education of Buenavista Community College, together with the dedicated CTE faculty members, successfully conducted a meaningful Community Outreach Program aimed at fostering learning, creativity, and compassion among young learners in the community.

Through engaging storytelling activities, interactive games, and acts of community care, the program sought to create a positive and nurturing environment where children could learn, express themselves, and experience the value of kindness and unity. Rothezen A. Salinas has earned a prestigious spot as a Top 7 Silver Medalist in the National Championship of the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee organized by the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC), standing out among 387 participants from 129 participating schools nationwide. This recognition highlights not only academic brilliance but also the dedication, discipline, and passion for teaching that define a true future educator.

This achievement also stands as a testament to the unwavering support and quality training provided by the College of Teacher Education, whose commitment to nurturing future educators continues to produce competent, competitive, and values-driven teachers.

Representing BCC with honor, Salinas showcased outstanding knowledge and competitive spirit among aspiring educators across the country. This achievement reflects the college’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its mission of shaping competent and globally competitive teachers.

PROVINCIAL TEACHER EDUCATION QUIZ BEE TOP FINISHERS 🏆

On March 28, 2026, a provincial quiz bee competition was held at the CBRC Office, where 30 participants from 10 different schools competed. Among them, the students from the College of Teacher Education of Buenavista Community College showcased outstanding performance, excellence, and academic distinction.

We proudly congratulate the following achievers:
🥈 Rothezen Aro Salinas – 2nd Runner-Up(National Qualifier – will compete at the national level on April 27, 2026 via online)
Awarded a full scholarship from CBRC, ₱2,000 cash prize, trophy, certificate, and medal
🏅 Angel Mae Melencion – 4th Runner-Up
Awarded 75% scholarship and certificate
🏅 Krister Lei Mabaling – 6th Runner-Up
Awarded 75% scholarship and certificate

This success would not have been possible without the guidance and dedication of their coaches: Dr. Venus E. Niñeza, Mary Joy Bolo, and Niño Sanchez, whose commitment to excellence played a vital role in this achievement.
