A wonderful weekend at S*FF 2026 in Antibes!
We were proud to showcase our black truffles, share our passion for regenerative cultivation, and connect with chefs, food professionals, and truffle lovers from around the world.

One of the highlights was our truffle-hunting demonstration with Betty, who did an amazing job finding the hidden treasures beneath the soil.

During late summer and autumn, even though black truffles are not ripe yet, we still take our dogs out into the field.

We look for any truffles that may have spoiled underground for different reasons. This helps them keep their natural searching instinct, their motivation to play, and their excitement for finding a reward.

And of course, after work… it is time to enjoy a good swim. 🐶🌿💦

Not everything is about truffles. 🌱

For us, growing truffles also means caring for the land that makes them possible.

Every plant that returns, every insect, every bird and every sign of life is part of the ecosystem we want to protect and strengthen.

We believe agriculture can produce something extraordinary while also giving something back to the land.

That is the way we understand truffle farming at VALTRUF: working with nature, improving the soil and helping biodiversity find its place again.

Estamos permanentemente monitoreando nuestras fincas de truficultura regenerativa para que tanto las carrascas como las trufas que conviven con ellas se desarrollen de forma óptima.

Protegemos el suelo con cubiertas vegetales permanentes, gestionando de forma equilibrada el crecimiento de las hierbas donde nos interesa que se desarrollen, para que protejan y enriquezcan de manera natural los suelos de nuestras fincas.

Realizamos ensayos con productos de altísima calidad y con certificación ecológica, para asegurar que no exista ningún tipo de contaminación en nuestras truferas y para mejorar, de forma específica, los sectores más desfavorecidos de la plantación.

“En Agrícola Las Bellotas manejamos la cubierta vegetal chafando con roller crop y cortando las hierbas que compiten con la carrasca con intercepas, todo en una sola pasada. Así reducimos gasoil y compactación, mantenemos un mulch vivo que protege el suelo y controlamos las hierbas de forma 100% mecánica, coherente con nuestra agricultura ecológica y regenerativa.”
