108 siempre estará en nuestros corazones como hogar, cobijo, paz, calma y el lugar de conexión con el Ser ✨

On May 29th, after 9 wonderful years, I closed the doors of 108 Yoga Studio® Bilbao Bilbao, Spain.

108 will always be in our hearts as a home, shelter, peace, calm and the place of connection with the Self ✨

Si pudiéramos ser capaces - para eso nos ayuda la práctica de Yoga - de recordar que in the now the yoga happens ; en el ahora el yoga sucede las incomodidades del día a día se convierten en enseñanza, las alegrías en recordatorios, las relaciones interpersonales y sus dificultades en nuestra práctica, es cuando LA VIDA MISMA se convierte en NUESTRA SĀDHANĀ (práctica espiritual)❤️

If we could — and this is what the practice of Yoga helps us do — remember that in the now the yoga happens, the everyday discomforts become teachings, the joys become reminders, and our interpersonal relationships and their difficulties become our practice… that’s when LIFE ITSELF becomes OUR SĀDHANĀ (spiritual practice) ❤️

En āsana siempre tiene que haber algo firme, estable, sthira, para que en otra zona se pueda experimentar libertad, expansión, espacio, comodidad, sukha.

Śakti necesita a Śiva como pilar.

Deseo de corazón que encuentres en esta práctica esa “tablita” que te ayude a flotar en este mundo líquido.

☼ Profes: guiar a lxs alumnxs a que el Yoga se convierta en un pilar fuerte que les dé estabilidad en su vida en todos los sentidos — más allá de la guía de āsana—es donde reside la MAGIA de nuestra profesión 🥹

EN What holds you — holds me — up in this liquid world?

In āsana there always has to be something steady, firm, stable, sthira, so that in another area we can experience freedom, expansion, space, ease, sukha.

Śakti needs Śiva as her pillar.

I wish with all my heart that you find in this practice that little “float board” that helps you stay afloat in this liquid world.

☼ Teachers: guiding students so that Yoga becomes a strong pillar — stability in every area of life, not just on the mat. That’s where the MAGIC of our profession lives 🥹

Ellxs son las almas bellas que formaron parte de este viaje a Japón-maravilla 🫀EN below

Estoy plenamente convencida de que cada persona que se une a es porque ese lugar le pertenecía desde el minuto uno.

Hay un concepto japonés, EN (縁), que se traduce literalmente como “karma relacional”: el vínculo invisible que conecta a las personas.

No nos encontramos con alguien por casualidad — hay una fuerza, un hilo, que teje ese encuentro desde antes de que ocurra 🤍

Ha venido un grupo de nueve personas que no se conocían de nada y han culminado este viaje sintiendo verdaderamente ese hilo que les ha unido.

Arigatō gozaimasu por enseñarme tanto sobre mí misma. Por ser espejo y por permitirme haber sido vuestra guía en esta experiencia de vida 🫀

These are the beautiful souls who were part of this wonder-Japan journey 🫀
I am fully convinced that every person who joins does so because that place belonged to them from the very first moment.
There is a Japanese concept, EN (縁), literally translated as “relational karma” — the invisible thread that connects people.
We don’t meet someone by chance — there is a force, a thread, that weaves that encounter together long before it ever happens 🤍
Nine people who didn’t know each other at all came together and ended this journey truly feeling that thread binding them.
Arigatō gozaimasu for teaching me so much about myself. For being a mirror, and for allowing me to have been your guide in this life experience 🫀

Shokunin (職人)

El artesano que dedica toda una vida a perfeccionar una sola cosa. No para alcanzar la perfección — sino porque el camino mismo ES la práctica.

En cada clase de Yoga de comparto con ellxs un concepto japonés: una palabra que se convierte en brújula del día.

Además de adentrarse en la filosofía del Yoga, viajan hacia el interior de la cultura del país que estamos visitando. 🫀

EN in comments ✨ Hay viajes que son para corazones & almas con ganas de saborearlo con consciencia & atención 🫀 & hay experiencias que están en sintonía con este tipo de viajes…

Como cuando comes soba servida por un hombre que durante años fue sacerdote sintoísta, y te das cuenta de que estás en un lugar que guarda muchas historias.

Es cuando duermes en una Machiya de cien años y el olor, el sentir del tatami bajo tus pies, te hacen bajar el ritmo.

Es el sento —baño público—del barrio, no el onsen para turistas. Ese del periodo Edo. Donde formas parte, por un rato, de la vida real de esa ciudad.

No hemos venido a hacer turismo a Japón. Vinimos a saborearlo. A admirarlo. A integrarlo en el cuerpo & la mente.

Por eso en cada Heart-Travels busco esas experiencias auténticas que no encontrarás en las guías: el country-side que nadie fotografía, los barrios donde no verás turistas, moverte como un japonés más en el metro más grande del mundo.

✨ Curated experiences. Auténticas, genuinas, conectadas con la esencia japonesa & que te ayudarán a sentir el país desde una mirada más profunda.

ICHI GO ICHI E ✨ JAPÓN ‘26 EN below

Imagina que vas en un tren a toda velocidad. Es difícil apreciar nada, darte cuenta del paisaje… Conforme el tren comienza a reducir la velocidad, la imagen se vuelve más nítida, puedes apreciar los detalles, notar con más claridad.

Esta es la invitación de este concepto japonés —y de la filosofía del yoga—: reducir la velocidad, bajar el ritmo, suavizar el sistema nervioso para apreciar la vida con más detalle, para saborearla, para vivirla con más presencia.

Hemos culminado nuestra estancia en Tokio; en sintonía con la propuesta de HEART-TRAVELS, han experimentado distintas caras de esta maravillosa ciudad… facetas de un Tokio más slow y poco conocido.

Si te gusta viajar con consciencia y presencia, te espera 🫀

WHY did I choose this name ICHI GO ICHI E for our trips at ?

It’s an expression of chadō — the tea ceremony — rooted in the teachings of Sen no Rikyū, the country’s most influential tea master.

It’s a reminder that life is but a moment. Because it’s so important to stay aware that this exact moment will never happen again.
It’s an invitation to live the moment with heart. To live present; here and now.

Imagine you’re on a train going at full speed. It’s hard to take anything in, to notice the landscape… As the train starts to slow down, the image becomes sharper, you can appreciate the details, notice things more clearly.

This is the invitation of this Japanese concept — and of yoga philosophy — to slow down, lower the pace, soften the nervous system, in order to appreciate life in more detail, to savor it, to live it with more presence.

These trips remind us what a gift it is to be able to experience them 🤍

We’ve wrapped up our time in Tokyo; in tune with HEART-TRAVELS’ philosophy, the group has experienced different faces of this wonderful city… facets of a slower, lesser-known Tokyo.

If you love traveling with consciousness and presence, is waiting for you 🫀
