New Spanish Home Meditations ❣️A few days ago, I officially moved into my new apartment in Spain.
Starting a new chapter always stirs something inside—whether it’s a flicker of fear or a whisper of excitement.
Beginning life again as a single mother in a foreign country is, of course, not a bed of roses. And yet, through it all, one thought kept rising in my heart:
“God has a better plan for you.”
I imagined myself holding a small bunch of daisies up to Him… and He appeared before me holding a meadow of golden lotus flowers. I felt so incredibly held, and I cannot thank the universe enough for this feeling of safety and support. 🌸✨
And as B.K.S. Iyengar said:
“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom.”
And so, I guess my lesson learned is this:
Behind fear—if you really sit with it, feel it fully, and even imagine the worst-case scenario—there is so much courage, resilience, and faith waiting to be found. And also: YOU are stronger than you can ever, ever imagine. I promise you really, really are. ❣️
So next time fear raises its little head in your heart, maybe pause… and listen.

And so, with two new homes now and enough stability for me and my family to move forward, I can’t wait to return to my mat and to teaching again.
