She will talk about linguistic justice, in times of the Covid19 pandemic. Based on case studies, she will deal with more fundamental questions about how linguistic injustice is constituted and how it can be overcome

Her current research focuses on the role of language (and signification more generally) in global social movements, as well as the development of new theoretical perspectives in sociolinguistics, drawing on the work of anti- and ante-colonial scholars
