Meet our teacher: Interview with Loïk de Tienda.

Loïk de Tienda shares his journey within BCC, where he has been collaborating since 2011, almost from the very beginning of the institution. He started as a teacher, bringing his experience directly from the field into the classroom.

Over the years, he contributed to the development of Years 3, 4, and 5 while teaching across these levels. He later joined the Technique Team and, at a later stage, became Head of the Technique Unit. Today, he works closely with all other units to ensure strong interdisciplinary coordination.

He highlights how students often find the technique component of the program the most impactful and engaging. According to him, the strength of the BCC program lies in its balance between technique, philosophy, and science.

Loïk also emphasizes the high level of student engagement and the positive feedback from graduates. He also notes that 9 out of 10 students already have a contract before graduating.
