It is never too late to go after something new.

Shamine Joanne Chainani had over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and events when she left Trinidad and Tobago at 48 to study a Master's in Sports Management at ESEI in Barcelona. She came for the degree and left with a whole new chapter.

Since graduating she has founded Oneeyeblue Sport Promotions, creating experiences where strangers become a community through sport.

From Tanzania to Barcelona. ESEI alumni Comfort Lambert did not just build a career after graduating. She built a school.

Comfort graduated with a Master's in International Relations and International Business in 2019. She went on to work across continents, support CEOs, and co-found Micolian Girls Boarding School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A girls' boarding school built on a belief in what education can do for young women, with a strong focus on practical, skills-based and project based learning. Not unlike the approach she experienced at ESEI.

Barcelona has a neighbourhood for everyone. But which one is yours?

We asked some of our ESEI students where they live in Barcelona and what they like about it. One of the best parts about studying abroad in Barcelona is finding the neighbourhood that feels like home.

Barcelona is one of Europe's most popular cities for international students, and for good reason. Every neighbourhood has its own personality, from the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter to the beaches of Barceloneta, the creative energy of Gracia, and the local feel of Poblenou. As a student here, you do not just visit these places. You actually live in them.
