Información general
One of the main challenges our society will need to face over the next few years is respect for our surrounding environment. Answers are being sought in different areas and Biomimetics is playing an increasing leading role amongst them. Biomimetics is defined as the comprehension of functions and properties in nature and their application to the design and manufacturing of new products and management systems.
At present, there are already multiple examples about the applications of Biomimetics but its development opportunities based on the observation of nature are huge and inspiring and it is one of the fields likely to receive the highest investment over the next few years. This is why we believe it is the ideal time to organize an
international summit about this topic, the Biomimetic Summit®.
The purpose of the Biomimetic Summit® is to set the ideal stage for the creation of new scenarios with the participation of experts, companies, academic centers and institutions and their presentations of examples and tendencies.
Conferences, knowledge exchange sessions, networking and product and solution exhibitions will be brought together for the first time to explore the opportunities of Biomimetics to innovate products and services from a multidisciplinary and transversal approach.
