Barcelona School of Economics is entering a new chapter in its leadership.

After eight years of dedicated service, BSE extends its sincere gratitude to Paulina Beato, outgoing Chair of the Board, and to Marsel Meeuwsen, outgoing General Manager, who was part of the team for 15 years, for their commitment, leadership and lasting contributions to the institution.

As part of this transition, Teresa Garcia-Milà has been appointed Chair of the Board, Joan Monras becomes the new Director of BSE, and Xavier Nuñez joins as General Manager.

This new leadership team brings together deep institutional knowledge, academic excellence and senior management experience to guide BSE’s next stage of development.

Together, they will continue building on BSE’s tradition of research impact, graduate education and global engagement.
