Last week we finished the Summer Block and officially the last course of the academic year ☀️

Printmaking, body molds, painting, studio time… and a lot of work in progress everywhere.

A pretty perfect way to close the year at Metàfora: full studios, new processes, shared ideas and that summer creative energy.

Metàfora alumni at Art Nou Festival ✨

We’re happy to share some moments from *En el principio, Dios creó Internet*, a performance-installation by Ellie Salyers , Joely Lorenzen and Anna Floto .200cent , presented as part of Art Nou 2025.

Art Nou is Barcelona and L’Hospitalet’s emerging art festival, creating spaces of encounter between young artists, galleries, independent spaces, institutions and the wider public.

It is always special to see former Metàfora students continue developing their artistic practice and taking part in the city’s contemporary art scene.
