Hi 👋 ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
We have already told you how to learn a language with the help of movies, but what if you do not like movies or TV show? ⠀⠀
There exists a solution 💡 ⠀⠀
You can learn languages by reading some books 📖 ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
There are 4 ways how to do it: ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
1. Read a paragraph in the language you learn first and then in your native one. This method is considered to be quite effective. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
2. Read a book in a foreign language and translate all the words you don’t know using a dictionary. This is rather time-consuming and not the most popular method, but according to the people who used it, it gives good results. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
3. Read the same book in your native language and then read it in the language you learn. You will understand it because the text is already familiar to you. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
4. Re-read a book you have never read before in the language you learn many times. Do not use dictionary and translation. This method is called intuitive. Again, according to those who tried this method, it brings results.⠀
⠀⠀
Which way of learning a language do you prefer? ⠀⠀
If you prefer learning a language by watching movies put ❤ in the comments, if by reading the books put 📖 ⠀⠀
It is very interesting for us to know! ⠀

Hi 👋 ⠀
⠀
Even at the height of summer, there is no reason not to learn languages 😊⠀
⠀
In order to start thinking in the language you are learning you just need to make a little effort.
We can get used to everything and even rebuild our body as we want, so we can also think in a foreign language. ⠀
⠀
First of all, you need to try to translate in your mind everything that you see, don’t forget to invent monologues and replay them in your mind. ⠀
Comment everything what you see around you and if you have forgotten a word, do not immediately look for it in a dictionary, but rather try to remember. ⠀
The most important thing is to communicate, speak the language you learn and do not be afraid of making mistakes. ⠀
At first it will not be very easy, your native language will become your worst enemy, but then gradually you will see the result. ⠀
⠀
With us you can learn any language of the world 🗺 ⠀

Hi 👋 ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Nowadays speaking 5-8 languages is not a sign of genius, every person can do it if he or she wants it. And it is not necessary to spend a lot of money and go to live to another country. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Here are some tips that could help you to become a polyglot:⠀
⠀⠀
1. You need to dedicate some time during a day to the language you learn - preferably 30 minutes per day than 3 hours per week. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
2. Always have with you well-organised learning materials: tables, diagrams, words. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
3. Practice is the key to success! You should speak the language you learn at any given opportunity. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
4.Read texts in the language you learn, even if you don’t understand them completely. Just don’t choose too difficult material. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
5. Make the most of your time and use it for learning: walks, trips in public transportation, queues at doctor's office. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
It is worth saying that true polyglots do not learn languages just for the sake of linguistic records. In fact, they learn languages for their own interest and at the same time do not boast about their achievements.

Hi 👋 ⠀
⠀
What is better - to speak several languages poorly or speak one but perfectly? It turns out that the first option is more profitable for the development of our brain. ⠀

⠀
3. Bilinguals have better music abilities ⠀
Learning a foreign language causes the brain to discover the sounds that it had not previously worked to identify and distinguish. ⠀
⠀
4. Language experts have the ability to be multitasking ⠀
Those who speak several languages are able to switch between tasks more easily. ⠀
⠀
5. Languages improve memory ⠀
Children who grew up in a multilingual environment have a much better memory than those who have heard only native language since childhood. ⠀
⠀
6. Bilinguals have better concentration. ⠀
Bilinguals are distinguished by stronger attention to both the main thing of an important phenomenon and its details. ⠀

Hi 👋 ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀
By their origin, languages сan be natural and artificial. Natural are the languages spoken by people. Natural languages evolve and develop. Artificial languages are created in a synthetic way to transmit any specific information. Artificial languages include Esperanto, programming languages, musical notation, Morse code, cryptographic systems, jargon, and others. It seems that everything is obvious: if a language is created by people, then it is artificial; if it was created itself and developed independently then we speak about a natural language.⠀
⠀⠀
Some languages are kind of mix between artificiality and naturalness. An example would be one of the four official languages of Switzerland, Retro Roman. The fact is that in the mid-twentieth century the Romanesque language did not exist. Instead, in various regions of Switzerland there were five separate dialects of the related, but not a single language of the Romance language family. And only in the 1980s a group of scientists united to create a single language based on the most common dialects. The words in this language were chosen according to the principle of similarity - words were created according to some similarities, a world was taken in a language if it sounded more or less similar in all dialects. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
For about twenty years now, documents and books have been published in a new Romano-Romanian language, it is taught in Swiss schools and spoken by residents of the country. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The Czech language can be also called artificial. Until the end of the XVIII century in the Czech Republic, everyone spoke German and the Czech language existed in the form of some dialects used only by some villagers that didn’t have an education. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Hebrew can be also considered as a reborn language. At the end of the 19th century, Ben-Yehuda, a man who is called the father of modern Hebrew, began a movement to revive the language. Books and magazines were published in Hebrew and it was the language of international communication of Jews from different countries, but noone spoke Hebrew daily. It used to be a dead language. Now Hebrew is a spoken and official language of Israel.

Hi 👋⠀⠀
⠀
Speaking two or three foreign languages today is not a surprise now. Those who know four foreign languages are called polyglots and those who know more than 4 languages are called hyperpolyglots. In Switzerland, for example, there are four official languages: German, French, Italian, Retro-Roman - therefore Swiss people can be considered as polyglots. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
But what is polyglossia or multilingualism? Does it refer to a special talent or motivation? Today, scientists believe each person can learn as many languages as he or she wishes and needs. Recent studies show that the brain of an average person works only at 10% of its capabilities. In other words, we can work 10 times more efficiently and absorb 10 times more information. Everything depends on our will, performance and motivation. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Thus a famous archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann in his free time was dedicating himself to learning of foreign languages. It was his hobby and during his life he managed to learn about fifteen languages. It goes without saying that the knowledge of languages rescued Schliemann not once during his excavations in different parts of the world. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Leo Tolstoy was also a hyperpolyglot. According to historical sources, the writer was fluent in more than fifteen languages. Other well-known personalities also knew several languages: Catherine II, Cleopatra, poet L. Ukrainka and others. But does there exist a maximum of languages an average person can learn? Studies show that no maximum number of languages exists. We are limited only by our own desires and a duration of human life. We can learn as many languages as we want taking into consideration that we have enough time and effort for it. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
There is a story about one Italian (his descendants decided not to make his name public) who was fluent in seventy languages. At the same time, he never attended a school and did not learn languages through textbooks. He traveled a lot, constantly changing professions, his life was full of events and adventures. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Based on this, we can say for sure that a person can learn a huge number of languages, the main thing is a desire to do it and motivation 😉
