They did it! After a year of coding, testing and redesigns, Year 9 students at St PETER’S SCHOOL launched miniature satellites through the CanSat Project 2026.

6 teams reached the final competition — and Lumenix launched by rocket.

And yes, the students filmed and explained the whole experience themselves 🎥

At SMUN2026, 200 students from 15 schools became United Nations delegates this past weekend. They reminded us that global solutions are still possible through diplomacy, communication, and a shared willingness to build a better world. Thank you, delegates. Today, our community came together for a tradition that goes beyond the race. A day of joy, shared effort, and purpose, as our students (and teachers) ran side by side to support Action Against Hunger and take a small step in the fight against global hunger.
