El objetivo es que el alumno no solamente consiga un buen nivel de conocimientos gramaticales sino que el alumno llegue realmente a alcanzar un nivel alto de pronunciación y naturalidad en su inglés hablado. iales multimedia como videos, news clips, CDs y libros estructurados hacia ese fin para que el alumno llegue a expresarse de una forma natural, con una fonética correcta y con lo que llamo yo la 'música' del idioma. He trabajado con alumnos tanto jóvenes como adultos, especializándome en el seguimiento del uso concreto del inglés para profesionales en sus conferencias internacionales, congresos, seminarios y en el estudio de publicaciones y materiales especializados a sus sectores de actividad. I was born in a small town near Philadelphia, Masters in Education from West Chester, University of Pennsylvania, and concentration in French Literature, Culture and Phonetics. Since 1975, I have developed diverse methods for the development of methods of the learning of English as a secondary language. The objective is that the student not only learn the grammar of the language but also dominate the language in its full understanding as a cultural inheritance and with its intonation and what I deem the most essential part of this learning process, its ‘music’.

Thursday evening went well although missing one member....we talked about the kid-snatching problem that has been happening from the Franco dictatorship 'till the late 80's. Then we looked at TIME'S 100 most influential people list, and finished up with the music of Simon and Garfunkel, appointed to the Music Hall of Fame in 1990 and still crazy after all these years.

Well, what a great session last Thursday! Everyone had time and ENERGYto speak about the topic brought up in our last video about an obesity epidemic that some say is encouraged by fast food chains in low income areas such as the Bronx. We ended the class with a hommage to Dusty Springfield and her 'Son of a Preacher'.
