Reunión con la Institución Universitaria de Barranquilla, de Colombia, en la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - UPC. El encuentro ha tenido como objetivo definir vías de colaboración y relaciones cooperativas entre ambas instituciones.

Agradecemos la visita de la Prof. Marlene Ballestas (Decana de la Facultad de Ciencias, Educación, Artes y Humanidades) y del Prof. Carlos Montero (Decano de la Facultad de Ingenierías).

Within the framework of the Annual Conference & Expo, our Vice-Rector for International Policy and the Director of the International Relations Bureau held a strategic meeting regarding the Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA) Barcelona division with representatives from Brown University (leading institution) and the other partner institutions from Barcelona.

CASA is a non-profit academic consortium of 12 leading comprehensive research universities worldwide. It aims to deliver full academic immersion opportunities, engaging highly inquisitive students with world-renowned faculty and global thought-leaders.

We are glad to announce that in the near future, UPC will officially take over as the local university coordinator of the program.

This milestone reinforces our commitment to attracting global talent and expanding our international research ecosystem.

This vibrant event unites thousands of higher education professionals from more than 100 countries to foster cross-border academic exchange. 🤝

As part of the Catalan universities' delegation, our leadership team is meeting with existing global partners and exploring new collaboration opportunities in order to enrich our internationalisation.

Des del Gabinet de Relacions Internacionals de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - UPC compartim la informació sobre el projecte PROM – Short-Term Academic Exchange, una iniciativa gràcies a la qual l’estudiantat de la UPC pot fer una estada de curta durada a la AGH University of Krakow (Polònia).

Aquest programa d'intercanvi acadèmic està adreçat a estudiantat de grau, màster i doctorat que vulgui realitzar una estada curta (d’entre 5 i 14 dies) a la seva institució.

💰 L'ajut del programa inclou:

Beca de mobilitat.

Quantitat fixa (lump sum) per al viatge, allotjament i manutenció.

📚 Per a quines activitats es pot demanar? Des de l'assistència a cursos d'estiu o hivern i cursos breus, fins a la recerca amb equipament científic singular o la recollida de materials per a publicacions o tesis doctorals.

We recently hosted a wonderful group of students from the HTL Braunau vocational high school (Austria) who are specializing in Electronics and Computer Science. 🖥️⚡
They visited the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - UPC campus to learn about our academic offers, international exchange programs, and what life is like as a student in one of Europe’s leading tech hubs. 🎓✨

Yesterday, we celebrated the closing ceremony of this academic year's “Viure i Conviure” housing program! 🎓👵🧓

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the University of Oradea (Romania) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - UPC.

Apunta’t al juny a un webinar especial dedicat a la implementació de la Iniciativa del Carnet d'Estudiant Europeu a tota l'Aliança Unite!.

La sessió està adreçada al personal de les oficines de relacions internacionals (IRO) i als professionals d'institucions d'educació superior implicats en els processos i la implementació de l'ESCI.

El webinar serà impartit per experts de Cm.2 – Digital Campus, sota la direcció de Roberto Bertonasco, del Politecnico di Torino, i el seu equip, els quals compartiran la seva experiència i coneixements en relació amb la implementació de l'ESCI a l'Aliança Unite!.

Perspectives sobre els avenços realitzats pels socis d'Unite! dins de la iniciativa ESCI.

Una panoràmica de les diferents etapes d'adopció a tota l'Aliança.

Enfortint lligams internacionals amb Nigèria 🌍🤝

A la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - UPC hem tingut el plaer de rebre la delegació institucional de la Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (Nigèria), encapçalada pel seu vicerector, el Prof. Okechuku Onuchuku.

La trobada ha estat una gran oportunitat per compartir coneixement i bones pràctiques en l'àmbit de la gestió universitària. Durant la visita, s'han abordat temes estratègics d'interès mutu com:

🔹 Sistemes de gestió innovadors i eficiència en la gestió de fons. 🔹 Generació de recursos alternatius per a la institució.
🔹 El paper clau de les noves tecnologies en l'optimització de processos.

A més del vessant tècnic, la reunió ha servit per explorar vies de futur per fomentar la col·laboració professional i acadèmica entre ambdues institucions.

Seguim treballant per consolidar la UPC com un hub de referència global i d'intercanvi de talent!
