This is what we mean when we talk about self-sufficiency as a goal of planetary sustainability in our lectures: the idea of Gaudí's bio-learning takes on a new perspective in the 21st century, since the tree lives for decades without moving from its spot, with the resources it can find there: soil, water, sun, and air.
