Writing is what I do for a living and for fun. And here is a random thought I had while watching someone offering free hugs on the street...
So, if you ask me, will we ever stop reading books written by human hands or watching films shaped by human hearts? On the surface, I guess we might but if we dig deeper, I think eventually it will lead us into a cold, hermit-like existence. It’s like thinking you don’t need a hug until its comforting warmth reminds you of how much you actually longed for it.
When we open a book written by a human, only then do we realize how much we actually craved that connection.
Can we ever truly live without the comfort of a fellow human’s hug? The reassuring touch of someone made of flesh and bones, someone who may not have lived our experiences but can still sense our joy, sorrow or pain – the essence of our humanity. It’s a journey of laughter, tears, firsts, losses and discoveries, each uniquely ours yet profoundly uniting. These moments define us and bring us together in ways only we, humans, understand.
So I wouldn’t trade the raw, sometimes imperfect beauty of a human story for anything that could be perfectly crafted otherwise.

In reported speech, we retell what someone else said without quoting their exact words. This often involves shifting tenses, pronouns, and time expressions to fit the context of the reporting. Here are a few examples of how direct speech changes in reported speech:
Present Simple
Direct: "I like this lesson."
Reported: She said she liked that lesson.
Present Continuous
Direct: "I am working on the project."
Reported: He said he was working on the project.
Past Simple
Direct: "We finished the task."
Reported: They said they had finished the task.
Present Perfect
Direct: "She has completed the report."
Reported: He said she had completed the report.
Will
Direct: "I will call you tomorrow."
Reported: She said she would call me the next day.
Can
Direct: "I can join the meeting."
Reported: He said he could join the meeting.
Must
Direct: "I must finish this now."
Reported: She said she had to finish it then.

READING COMPREHENSION AND HALLOWEEN VOCABULARY.
Boo! Happy Halloween to all of you!
I literally got goosebumps today when I realized that it's been so long since I last posted. I owe you all an apology and a good update on what's up. It's been a rollercoaster and a continuous change of our routine for the past months. Being a mom is definitely a tough job and the moment you think you got it all figured out, the baby changes his routine again and it's all over again 🤪 And then work and other things fall somewhere in between... I don't want to frighten you though, being mom is also so freakishly satisfying!
But less about me and more about today's topic, HALLOWEEN! LET'S REVIEW SOME WAYS YOU CAN SAY YOU ARE SCARED/ NERVOUS:
I FEEL UNEASY
I GET GOOSEBUMPS/ IT GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS
SHIVERS RUN DOWN MY SPINE
MY HEART MISSED A BEAT
