We've made our first snowman as a family! Little milestones!
And together with the wonders of winter I'm happy to announce new groups in Barcelona and Santa Coloma for mums with their babies up to 3 (but also dads and others).
In the conversation groups we talk about all those worries, doubts and wonders that maternity and parenting bring to our lives. All this starts with the pregnancy period, so if you are pregnant you are welcome too!
So far you can find groups at (friday 11h -12h)

Hem fet el nostre primer ninit de neu com a família! Petites fites!
I juntament amb les meravelles de l'hivern m'alegra anunciar nous grups a Barcelona i Santa Coloma per a mares amb els seus nadons de 0-3 anys (també pares i altres).
Als grups de conversa parlem de les preocupacions, els dubtes i les meravelles que ens porten a maternitat i la criança, així que les embarassades sou també benvingudes!.

🎁Christmas presents🎁
Often parents are afraid of going home with a bunch of plastic toys that the kids are going to use just once, but how to tell aunties, uncles and grandpas...?
If only they knew about wooden toys, pikler, Montessori and waldorf!! Sometimes you make fun of yourself because all these superwords, but hell...you believe in them!
You are not alone!
Here there are three words that may sumarize what you expect from any new toy this Christmas!

🌠UNSTRUCTURED
However it's not always easy to find something like that and be sure that it wil make the kid happy, specially at some ages.
Its time to start getting ideas! And confess...you too have some fisher price around!

School adaptation.🕛📅🚵😵
Not much words needed to trigger some worries in most of the families with 3-year-olds, enough with...ADAPTATION 💫
Dual feelings, guilt, happines, sadness, worries, rest, stress, family organization, timetables, educational dilemas.
Many different realities depending on the degree of concern about the diverse opcions we have when our kids turn 3, or on the priorities of each families, but here there's one who thinks that ADAPTATION is necessary, and that another adaptation is possible.😃
We are so happy we ended up in a school where children are the center. Luckily in Barcelona and around things are hanging.
Let's make it pleasant, organic, fitting their needs and rythms. It's true that for many families it becames very, very difficult, but I've been able to see withy eyes that even children whose parents can't be there feel better when other's fathers or mothers are in class.
The armosphere is more relaxed and things get easier and calmer.
What is your experience? How did you feel when your child started the school "of the big ones"? Or the first day in the Kindergarten?

Adaptació a l'escola.
No calen massa paraules per preocupar les famílies de nens i nenes de 3 anys al setembre. N'hi ha prou amb ADAPTACIÓ!
Sentiments duals, culpa, alegria, tristor, preocupacions, descans, estrès, organització familiar, horaris, dilemes educatius..
Hi ha moltes realitats diferents segons la importància que donem al tipus d'educació que rebran els nostres fills o a les prioritats, però aquí n'hi ha una que pensa que L'ADAPTACIÓ ha de ser-hi i que una altra adaptació és possible.
I nosaltres estem feliços que ens hagi tocat una escola on els infants són el centre.
Fem-ho agradable i d'acord amb les seves necessitats i els seus ritmes. És cert que hi ja famílies que no s'ho poden muntar per ser-hi, però tots se'm beneficien.

❔Big question all parents have asked ourselves at some point! Sometimes we need it badly!💣
The answer is sooner or later YES , but it'll depend on so many things. Obviously there are things we can do to make them less dependent and let them enjoy time by themselves, but there's not a magic formula.
Siblings, new homes, school, developmental stages, etc. Willl play an important role here.
I'd even say its wonderful they want to play with you. It's there sincere invitation to their little big world.
So...enjoy it, trust your children and give them tools.

As always it's better not to compare, not to feel guilty depending on our kids development. The time will come.
The other day at home we all needed a nap, except fo HER. And you know what? We all were resting while she was playing alone. 🙏 Thak you! This made me think of how much we desired that for e years.
🙋 What's your experience? Is there anything you did that you think helped your children start playing without you?
We can talk about all this and much more whilr you practice and improve your English. Babies welcome!!👶

Well, if you are reading this is because you probably survived several car trips this summer with your children.
Something parents always talk about, specially during holidays. 🚘
I'm so fortunate that I've seen the evolution from new born to 3 years old and I'm starting over again!💪
Nowadays travelling with the 3 year old one is a PIECE OF CAKE, she may complain a little bit about the smell or the "how long is it going to be?" and "Are we already there?" (But let's leave all this for vol.2). The thing is with the little one.

The little baby who does not understant why you are right there and you can't hold her, the one who wants to sleep, but the pacifier WON'T DO. Songs won't do. Nothing will do. The one who wants your breast noooow!😭
Our car ends up being a real circus trying to breastfeed, singing, etc. It definately boosts our creativity.
What are your creations? Can you share any tip?
Don't tell me you are a lucky one and your babies fall asleep immediately after you start.

Si estàs llegint això és perquè provablement has sobreviscut uns quants viatges en cotxe amb els teus fills aquest estiu.
Un tema sobre el qual els oares sempre parlen, especialmenr en època de vacances.

Jo sóc tan afortunada que he vist l'evolució des de recent nascut fins als 3 anys i ara torno a començar de nou!💪
Ara viatjar amb la de 3 anys és facilíssim, potser protesta una mica per l'olor o per "quan arribarem?", però tot això millor ho deixem pel vol.2. El tema aquí és la petita.

La petita que no entén perquè si estàs allà mateix, no la pots agafar, la que vol dormir, però el xumet no serveix. Les cançons ni serveixen, res serveix.
La que vol la teta araaaa!😭
El nostre cotxe acaba sent un veritable circ intentant fer teta, cantant...realmemt la situació fa treballar la creativitat!

Today my little one is 4 months 😱 and on one side it's been so intense, we've undergone so many changes as a family, but on the other side...4 months already? Really?
It feels yesterday when I caught her coming out to earthside. So warm, smelling like life itself, moving her arms and legs like telling us she was so happy to be alive.
Parents always talk about how fast time goes by (but also how days may get so looong)
How do you feel about time passing by like this since you have kids??

Avui la petita fa 4 mesos i d'una banda tot ha estat tan intens i tantes coses han canviat a la família, però d'altra banda...4 mesos ja? De debò?
Sembla que fos ahir quan la vaig agafar mentre arribava de l'altra banda. Amb aquella escalfor i l'olor de la vida mateixa, movent braços i cames, com si ens expliqués com de contenta estava d'estar viva.
Els pares i mares sempre parlem sobre com de ràpid passa el temps (però també de com de llargs es fan els dies)
Com vius tu el pas del temps des que tens fills?

Sobre això hi ha tant a parlar! Es diuen tantes coses, però a l'hora de la veritat, no hi ha una fórmula que serveixi per a tothom? Patrons de son, zombies anant a treballar, bebès que es desperten a cada hora, d'altres que ni mu en tota la nit, cicles, fases, Estivill, Carlos Gonzalez, ensenyar, respectar, adaptar-se.

📝SABIES QUE...en anglés per dir que dormim molt bé, l'equivalent a "dormir com un tronc" diem TO SLEEP LIKE A BABY? 😂
