Understanding global business starts far beyond the classroom.
On March 20th, GBSB Global students took part in a Global Study Trip to Geneva — one of the world’s key hubs for international decision-making.
During the visit, students explored three major institutions shaping global systems:
– World Trade Organization (WTO) — to understand how global trade is structured and governed
– World Health Organization (WHO) — to see how international cooperation impacts public health
– International Labour Organization (ILO) — to learn how global labor standards are developed and implemented
These experiences are not just academic — they give students real context behind the concepts studied in class.
Because understanding international business today means understanding the institutions that shape it.
A new generation of athletes is redefining what success looks like — combining elite performance with long-term academic strategy.

During Saló de l’Ensenyament 2026 in , GBSB Global had the privilege of hosting a special moment that reflects the future of education and talent.
Together with representatives of FC Barcelona and La Masia, we welcomed Hamza Abdelkarim, a rising football talent who is already making his mark — both on and off the field.
As recently featured in Mundo Deportivo, Hamza represents a new generation of athletes who understand the importance of combining elite sport with academic development.
Starting this October, he will join GBSB Global Business School to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Digital Innovation.
This milestone highlights a shared vision:
bridging education, opportunity, and high-performance environments to support well-rounded, future-ready individuals.
We are proud to be part of this journey and to contribute to a model where talent is not only trained, but also educated, guided, and empowered.

A defining moment for GBSB Global at Saló de l’Ensenyament 2026.
During the official inauguration, GBSB Global Business School was one of the few institutions beyond the Consell de Universitats to receive official visits — a strong signal of our growing presence in the educational landscape.
We had the honour of welcoming:
• Núria Montserrat – Minister of Universities and Research
• Javier Selva – Director General for Knowledge Transfer and Society
• Constantí Serrallonga – Director General of Fira de Barcelona
• Miquel Soriano – Director General of Universities
• Oriol Escardíbul – Secretary General of Research and Universities
• Teresa Sanchís – Director General of Research
These visits were not just symbolic — they created an opportunity to present the GBSB Global project directly, exchange perspectives, and strengthen meaningful institutional connections.
We are sincerely grateful for the time, attention, and support shown by all the representatives.
Moments like these reinforce the importance of collaboration between education, institutions, and society — especially when shaping future-ready talent.

Nike didn’t become a global icon just by selling shoes.
The real magic happens when design, branding and product strategy work together over time to build long-term relevance.
This is exactly what our students experienced last Friday, by visiting the Nike Diseño en Movimiento exhibition in the center of Madrid, accompanied by our Professors Fabio Rodriguez and Carmen Alvarez.
From its beginnings as a small business in Oregon to becoming one of the most iconic and influential global brands, the exhibition gives a very tangible sense of how vision, branding and product strategy produced a cultural icon like the Nike we know and love today.
Truly inspiring for any business student.

How do companies turn data into action? 🚀
That was the key question behind our recent workshop, “Transforming Data into Value with Process Intelligence,” delivered by Celonis for GBSB Global students and graduates.
Led by Juan Ignacio Checa Diaz , Jr. Partner Manager Iberia & LATAM, the session introduced participants to the fundamentals of Process Mining and Process Intelligence, while also showing how operational data can be used to visualize, analyze, and improve real business processes.
Through practical examples and a live platform demo, participants explored
→ how companies can:
→ identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
→ improve process performance and compliance
→ use AI to enhance decision-making
→ uncover new value opportunities across operations
The workshop also highlighted the growing relevance of Process Intelligence across industries and the career opportunities it creates for future professionals in business, analytics, digital transformation, and technology.
A big thank you to Juan Ignacio Checa Diaz and Celonis for sharing valuable insights with our community.

Many early‑stage founders have great their ideas for their startups.
But they struggle because they advance without external validation, in relative isolation from the context where they want to operate.
They often lack three elements:
❌ structured feedback,
❌ a clear development roadmap
❌ and direct contact with the local ecosystem.
🚀G-Accelerator was designed to address exactly these gaps for impact‑oriented projects in Catalonia.
Over six months, founders follow a defined path — from problem and impact logic to business model, numbers and market entry — while working with mentors and practitioners who challenge their assumptions.
The interesting part is that this starts before the program officially begins.
The application itself forces you to put your idea into words in a way that another person can evaluate – and you receive an outside view on where you really are today.
For founders who are serious about their projects, this kind of interaction often changes more than a dozen inspirational talks ever could.
If you want to see how closely your project matches what G-Accelerator is built for, the details are on our website.

“It has a family atmosphere.”
— Scott, Master's student
Some students choose a school for rankings.
Scott chose something else.
A place where you know your lecturers.
Where the class isn’t just a number.
That’s what he found at GBSB Global Malta,
studying Master’s in Human Resources and Talent Development.
Sometimes the right school isn’t the biggest one.
It’s the one where you belong.

Never take impossible for granted.
Talk to people. Listen.
Then make your own decision.
Because it's you who has to live with it —
and that makes you capable of doing it right. 💙

"Amazing! They did a great job. I'm very proud of them" — that was the reaction from Head of Studies and Academic Operations Dr. Hind G. Naaman walking through the event.
Hard to argue with that.
Last week, students from our Tourism and Fashion Event Management Master's programs put together something that felt less like a student event and more like an industry afternoon worth being at.
Pop-up market, real speakers with real opinions on where AI is taking fashion and tourism, and an atmosphere that kept people in the room long after the program ended. And yes — there was also a fashion show and a wine tasting.
Circular fashion. Dynamic pricing. Overtourism. The kind of conversations that start in the room and don't stop in the hallway.
They did a great job. We think that's an understatement.
