Buccal massage, explained.
It’s an intraoral technique — worked from inside the cheek, with gloves — that targets muscles a regular facial can’t reach, like the masseter and buccinator.
What the evidence actually supports: releasing chronic jaw tension (often linked to clenching or grinding) has real clinical backing, particularly for TMJ-related discomfort. 🦷⚡️ The de-puffed, “lifted” look people notice afterward is largely short-term a result of fluid redistribution, not a lasting structural change.
We see it as functional work with a cosmetic side effect, not the other way around.
