Due to the worldwide situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties that still persist for large group meetings as well as for travelling around the world, the organizing committee has decided that SAHC2021 will be held in a fully online mode.
The dates of the celebration of the on-line conference are those already announced, i.e. September 29-30 and October 1, 2021. Detailed information on the programme and organization of the on-line event will be sent soon.
A reduced flat registration fee of 360โฌ for regular conference delegates (300โฌ for students) will be implemented. The difference with the already paid fee will be refunded to authors already registered.
Authors that have submitted a full paper but have not yet registered can now register with the reduced fee. Papers will still be included in the indexed proceedings if the registration and payment is done until June 18, 2021.
If you have any specific questions or requests, please contact us at [email protected]
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation for the success of SAHC2021.

We are happy to announce another keynote speaker of the SAHC 2020 conference:
๐Giorgia Giardina
Delft University of Technology, Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ
Giorgia Giardina is assistant professor at the Civil Engineering and Geoscience faculty of the Delft University of Technology (https://www.tudelft.nl/en/). Giorgiaโs research aims at increasing urban resilience through the evaluation of buildings and infrastructure vulnerability. By integrating remote sensing data, experimental testing and computational modelling, she analyses the response of existing structures to urbanisation, earthquakes and climate change effects.
Her research interests include remote sensing and computational modelling, risk and damage assessment, heritage protection, seismic vulnerability, tunnelling and underground excavations, and settlement-induced structural damage.
Prior to joining the TU Delft, Giorgia was a lecturer at the University of Bath, a visiting professor at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a research associate and a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. She is a member of the International Scientific Committee on the Analysis and Restoration of Structures of Architectural Heritage (ISCARSAH), an associate scientist at the 4TU Centre for Resilience Engineering (4TU RE - https://www.4tu.nl/resilience/) and a member of the Heritage Under Threat group at the Centre for Global Heritage and Development (CGHD - https://www.globalheritage.nl/themes/heritage-under-threat).

Due to evolution of the COVID-19 worldwide health emergency, and after a careful consideration of the situation, the Organizing Committee has decided to ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ the SAHC 2020 conference. The new dates are ๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐-๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐, ๐๐๐๐. The conference will be held at the same venue in Barcelona.
The decision on the postponement of the conference has been indeed a very difficult one. The present situation is very uncertain and celebrating a large event in Autumn 2020 seems at the moment extremely risky or even impossible. In any case, our aim is to ensure a safe event while allowing all attendants to proceed conveniently with their travel plans and reservations.
All the papers submitted and already accepted after the peer review process will be kept for the new dates of the SAHC 2020 conference without any action being necessary from the participants. Submissions of new abstracts and manuscripts are also welcome.
The registration dates are modified as follows:

While wishing you, your teams and your loved ones health and safety, we look forward to seeing you in Barcelona in September 29-30 and October 1, 2021.
