Within the passed festival of La Merce, we managed to talk about diversity of celebrations and festivals through the year.

From a parade with a huge dragon for Chinese New Year, presents and greeting for Eid al-Fitr, special candles and doughnuts for Hanukkah, to wearing flowers and jumping like a frog for Swedish Midsummer, all the young learners experienced diversity even by languages.

They shared in English, Spanish, Catalan, German and even Mandarin..

SEL(social & emotional learning) is one key when children are still struggling to solve problems in the emotional field.

But, once the emotions are appeased, human beings will naturally enter the cognitive region, that is, enter the cognition progress to fight monsters and upgrade(see the figure below).

However, this progress will fall into the emotional field with the individual's energy depletion.

So, emotional wellness should be foundation. The learning (combination with remember, analyze and create) will occur automatically.

Making a program ending ceremony in amusement park would be a adventure.
However, we decided to try and the outcome seems to be inspiring😃

Despite of the target we had made should be awareness of concepts of physics, technology and the environment, encouraging sociability without monitored group activity and sparking interest in multiple fields, we got another small tip of gifts.

One of the 8-years-old young learners, who was boring by spelling previously, said that it turned out to be interesting by writing words..

Definitely!! We should not give up writing even it’s more popular to be a TikToker..
