🚀 Driving Change in Montpellier! The CHARM-EU team just wrapped up an intensive and productive Sprint 7 at the Université de Montpellier (May 20–21)!

✨ It’s been two days of collaboration as we dove deep into workshops across our various Work Packages. Our mission? To push forward on key actions and deliverables that define the future of our European University Alliance.

What was on the agenda?

Last Tuesday, 19 May, Philippe Augé, President of the Université de Montpellier , inaugurated the CHARM-EU space as part of the Charming Week.

📌 Located within the Richter inter-university library, this space brings together offices, collaboration areas, and teaching rooms connected across the CHARM-EU European campuses.

➡️ Designed to foster exchange, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, the classroom reflects CHARM‑EU’s commitment to building a more open, inclusive, and sustainable European higher education environment.

Participants engaged in lively discussions and shared experiences on how to:

📚Deep dive into EMI assessment practices
💬Interactive workshop on intercultural skills in multilingual classrooms

📌 Challenges & Opportunities of GenAI in Teacher Education

CHARM‑EU partners have come together at the Université de Montpellier for a networking event exploring the role of Generative AI in teacher education.🎓

Through interactive workshops, participants exchanged experiences and collaborated on key themes such as:

📝AI‑supported assessment approaches
📊Ethical challenges, including bias, transparency, and data privacy

🤝 A strong emphasis was placed on co-creation and collaboration, with participants working together to develop shared practices and resources that can support teacher education across different European contexts.

📌The IT-experts and the Joint Virtual IT office of CHARM-EU met up too in Université de Montpellier

They had in-depth discussions about topics such as:
