I want Nāda to be a reminder -
and a permission slip -
for you -
The powerhouse woman;
The capable one;
The driven one;
The backbone of her family and business -

To never forget the body that’s carrying you.
Listen to her.
Honour her.
Give her space to rest.
Don’t wear her down
in the name of being strong.

Your strength doesn’t come
from constant motion -
It comes from your ability to balance
doing with being.

Holding others -
while allowing yourself to be held too.

Presence and rest aren’t optional
for women like you and I.
They’re the source of our clarity, vitality, and power.

Something beautiful happened when I turned 30.

I started writing a daily gratitude journal.
Pages and pages - every single day - for nearly three years.

I have always had a beautiful bond with my Granny, who was a full-time musician. When she passed away, I was living on the other side of the world, from my family and friends.

I felt alone, far from everything familiar, and completely overwhelmed.

A therapist suggested I start a Gratitude Journalling practice - and it became the way I learned to shift my focus on a daily basis.

Eventually, I didn’t need to write it anymore.

I was practising it multiple times a day.

It stopped being something I did, and became who I was.

What it taught me was this:
Gratitude is a reorientation,
It shifts the lens.
It doesn’t deny the hard,
but it anchors you in the good.

And from that place, we move through life with more grace, resilience, and hope.

Eventually, we might even come to see the gift within the challenge itself.

The more we express thanks for what’s here now,
the more life gives us to be grateful for.

Start small.
Five minutes a day.
Three things you’re thankful for.

And let your body feel the gratitude - not just think it.

That alone can change your life.

So many high-performers
live in a constant state of dysregulation,
I know this first-hand.

On the outside you’re
composed and productive.

But under the surface,
your body is trying to get
your attention.

Do you experience any of

-Restlessness and a racing mind
-A constant low-level urgency

That’s a wrap! What an incredible experience 🧡 Carmine Gallo, the Harvard Public Speaking coach and author of “Talk Like Ted” and “The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs” said the following about my 18 minute talk:

“Jen, that was outstanding! Your talk is so beautifully put together and your personal story is so compelling. You get the audience hooked and you teach us something new, that is interesting and useful! The audience is not going to be able to leave their chairs until your presentation is done!” 💥

Vanessa Gallo, a Harvard Communications expert said “You have high energy and you would be amazing “on air”. Very few people can get across high energy on camera and your energy is fabulous. Another of your strengths is that you use a lot of credible research and science to back up your model. Your model is something people can use every day, and I like that.”

Exciting news!! Today, I will be delivering my new 18 minute talk to Carmine Gallo - speaker coach and author of 10 bestselling books, including my favourite “Talk Like TED” 📕

Carmine - and his wife Vanessa, who teaches public speaking at Harvard University, will both be providing live coaching, to help ensure my talk is world-stage ready! 🌍

I’m going to be sharing personal stories, statistics, and practical tools based on the latest neuroscience and psychology research, to best help you prepare and deal with life’s uncertainties 🧠

Today is also the 1 year anniversary of surviving my Bali dog attack, and I’ll be sharing what really happened… 😲
