👉 How do you answer? Use the perfect tense (he estado / no he estado) and then add a little detail to impress the examiner.

Here’s my example:
“Sí, he estado en Barcelona. Fui el verano pasado con mi familia y lo pasamos fenomenal. Me encantó la comida y la arquitectura.”

💡 Pro tip: Even if you’ve never been, you can still make it up 😉 It’s all about showing off your Spanish, not your boarding passes!
