Ayana is 10 years old and fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia — a rare, aggressive childhood cancer made even harder by a genetic mutation resistant to standard chemo. She’s spent over a month in the hospital, unable to even leave her room.

Ayana has been a student at our school for most of her life, and she’s part of our community.

Her parents, Lou and Anthony, are self-employed and now unable to work while caring for Ayana and her sister. In October, Ayana is set for a bone marrow transplant — the same month Lou is due to give birth to their baby boy.

Every donation helps cover hospital transport, meals, childcare, and Ayana’s wish for a wig so she can feel like herself again.

Ayana tiene 10 años y lucha contra una Leucemia Mieloide Aguda, un cáncer infantil raro y agresivo, agravado por una mutación genética resistente a la quimioterapia estándar. Lleva más de un mes hospitalizada, sin poder salir de su habitación.

Ayana ha sido alumna de nuestra escuela durante la mayor parte de su vida y forma parte de nuestra comunidad.

Sus padres, Lou y Anthony, son autónomos y ya no pueden trabajar mientras cuidan de Ayana y de su hermana. En octubre, Ayana se someterá a un trasplante de médula ósea, el mismo mes en que Lou dará a luz a su bebé.

Cada donación ayuda a cubrir el transporte al hospital, las comidas, el cuidado de las niñas y el deseo de Ayana de tener una peluca para sentirse ella misma otra vez.

The Primary end-of-year show was a wonderful way to celebrate the last day of school! Some children showcased their artistic talents, while others enjoyed the performances.

We would like to thank all the children for their hard work throughout the year, as well as all the staff members who helped make this a truly memorable experience.

Come and join the Primary and Secondary Art Exhibition before the End of Year Party this Friday!

Our Art Exhibition at the Esperança Campus celebrates the creativity, imagination, and achievements of our students. The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of artwork inspired by renowned artists and artistic movements, highlighting students’ exploration of materials and techniques such as ceramics, charcoal, painting, drawing, Mod Roc, and mixed media.

The works on display reflect the development of students’ observational skills, creativity, technical ability, and personal expression, as well as their understanding of key artistic concepts including scale, form, texture, and composition.

We would like to thank our Art teacher, Julia, who has led the art lessons throughout the year with dedication and enthusiasm, and the FAB Club, whose members have been working hard to prepare an exciting End of Year Party for our school community.

After visiting the exhibition, we invite you to continue the celebration at the Pomaret Campus, where our End of Year Party will take place.

We look forward to welcoming you to both campuses and celebrating together!

At BMS, the children have spent months working on their projects. Following their interests, they researched information to answer their questions and, embracing creativity, designed posters and models that provided a visual and engaging way to explore each topic.

One of the highlights of this year has been the opportunity to discover so much science through hands-on experiments, bringing learning to life in meaningful and exciting ways.
We would like to congratulate all the children on the hard work, dedication, and effort they have put into their projects.

We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us this morning to appreciate and celebrate one of the most important moments of the school year.
