💥It seems impossible... but we are getting to the end!
This morning the 𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗭 - 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 - partnership met for the final project meeting!
✨We saw together the great work done by teachers, students and experts, we discussed the outputs and we talked about how to bring this valuable content to schools in Europe!

💥We did it!
Between 5 and 8 July 2022, the partnership of 𝗘𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀+ 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗭 met in 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗶 𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁 (𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮) hosted by Fundació Llor and its magnificent school for the 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁.
📍Lot of content, ideas, good practices have been exchanged: techniques to , lateral reading methodology, types of online dis/mis-information, collection of feedback from European teachers and students, creation of digital content as inclusive and collaborative digital with Social Books Creator or counternarratives built upon TikTok videos’ format.
All this and more, in four days of intense activity and good sociality.

📌After long traveling and work, a first direct experience with online disinformation strategies and tools is being implemented in 4 European schools !
💥Tens of students and teachers in Spain, Portugal, Hungary and Poland are acquiring digital literacy competences through the first version of the official 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗭 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 !

🙌𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗭 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗦, 𝗛𝗨, 𝗣𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗧 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱!
By exploiting the tool we are now operatively entering the 3rd action of GenZ project: 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀
📍From now until the 15th April partner schools will be involved in testing the GenZ Tool with their students.
The objective is to provide students practical exercises to test their ability in debunking online information.
The activity will consist in trying to analyse and trace back the source of information through digital literacy and lateral reading strategies.

💥𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲!
On the 14th and 15th of October, the partnership of the project met in the wonderful
for the second Transnational Project Meeting. Thanks to 𝗭𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘇𝗸𝗼𝗹 𝗻𝗿 𝟲 for the
warm hospitality!
▶For this occasion Verificat and Pagella Politica showed advances in the development of the 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and the European schools involved in the project (Fundació Llor, Kürt Alapítványi Gimnázium, Real Colégio de Portugal and 𝗭𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘇𝗸𝗼𝗹 𝗻𝗿 𝟲) shared the news and topics to which apply this fact-checking methodology with their students.
▶On the second day, Archilabò described the dissemination strategy and project coordinator Fundació Llor provided indications on the further steps of the action plan.

📍The two-day Kickoff meeting of the 𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗭 - 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 project took place from 25 to 26 May 2021.
For the next two years we will work together with European partners to create "𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀", an open educational resource designed to provide teachers and students * methodologies to enhance Information and Media Literacy skills and understand how disinformation spreads online.
🇪🇺The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ program for the Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education in response of Covid-19 action.

📌In an attempt to contain the spread of COVID-19, in the large majority of European countries educational institutions have decided to temporarily suspend in-person instruction and
move to a remote learning model of delivery.
Physical school closure negatively affects students: less time spent in learning, stress symptoms, a change in the way students interact, and lack of learning motivation (JRC 2020).
However, in order to play remote learning at school, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.
🎯The digital skills’ framework entails in particular information and media literacy conceived as the set of integrated abilities encompassing the 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀.
𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 are the tools that our project will experiment in order to equip upper secondary school students and teachers with the main methodologies and features related to information and media literacy as well as digital dissemination dynamics.
💡Learning units will enhance teachers’ and students’ ability to spot fake news, trace back the sources of information, understand the information spreading processes and promote a responsible use of the internet.
