Want to Travel?
We take A1-A2 students through to B1 or even further. As a B1 student you should be able to deal with everyday situations when traveling in an English-speaking area, like ordering food, asking for directions, or making basic inquiries.
Below is the first lesson in a complete A1-A2 course.
Meeting and Greeting
Students learn phrases for meeting new people and introducing themselves. They are introduced to the verb “to be” and practise listening and speaking.

I love this lesson for upper-intermediate (B2-C1), it has a great video about English learning in China and an article about the spread of English across the globe. The lesson gives the opportunity to practise both listening, reading skills and has a great Talking Points section for speaking skills practise too.

We now offer structured conversation classes from https://www.linguahouse.com. The classes run from A2 right through to people studying for C1. The lower level classes we offer to groups of institute students. The higher level classes tend to be aimed at people who are studying for work or for pleasure to be able to talk to people around the world as it opens back up.
The classes are on a huge range of subjects important people in history, science, nature, current affairs, world events and can even be on more business based topics.
Each class is tailored to the individual or group, the aim is to make the classes as enjoyable as can be.
Here is a sample class.

This is a rather interesting article about what I affectionately refer to as The Mighty Schwa. Amazingly 12% of the phonemes that come out of your mouth when you speak British English are the Schwa...
Many thanks to richard@CBLingua.
