Learn at your pace in your place!

Tonight's group have certainly chosen my favourite place of learning for their Spanish lesson this evening. We had a great evening practicing conversational Spanish and learning some phrases to describe our nearest and dearest.

April 2022, I returned to the UK from living in Spain for four years. When I first arrived in Spain, I had no Spanish what so ever. Whilst out there I studied GCSE Spanish and European level B1 Spanish in order to connect with the people in my town. I found the Spanish to be warm and inviting and they were always happy to help a foreigner practice language over a Vino Tinto and Plato de Migras. Out there I discovered a passion for language learning. Speaking a new language is very much for me like breaking down a code. It’s a puzzle to be enjoyed. The more you learn the more you are able to piece together the message as a whole and uncover writing and speech presented to you.



I am confident that everyone has the potential to grasp a second language at whatever stage of their life they are in, young or old. We all learned to talk, and we can learn again.



With no previous education in languages prior to my studies in Spain I am now an undergraduate at The Open University studying Spanish with French and all my assignments so far have received nothing less than 95% scores.



To help fund my studies and build my language portfolio I'm embarking on a tutoring venture hoping to bring my love for languages to beginners in Spanish. If you would like to get started and develop even a basic level of Spanish, I would love to help you achieve your full potential.

Hola a todo! I'm reshaping the intercambio page in prep to launch a tutuoring business. I moved back to the UK in April and no longer run the intercambios in Antequera however the group is in good hands and still going strong. I'm happy to privately message the number of the lady who runs it now to anyone who wants to join.
