🇪🇺🇩🇪🇪🇸Today, we say goodbye to our dearest students from Kerpen (Germany). After three weeks in our school, those exchange students have immersed themselves in a different culture, language and way of life. This kind of experiences broadens your perspective and understanding of the world.

Living abroad fosters independence, adaptability, and resilience as you navigate new environments, social norms, and challenges on your own. In addition to improving their linguistic skills, these students have had the chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds, build international friendships, and establish professional connections that may benefit them in their future career.

We are sure this is an experience you will never forget! We wish you the best!!!!! 🇪🇺🇩🇪🇪🇸

Reports from Spain in the context of short-term mobility 🇪🇸🇩🇪🇪🇺🇪🇺
Lana and Laura tell us about their experiences after two weeks in Andújar, near Jaén in the IES Ntra. Sra. de la Cabeza🏫🇪🇦

We have been in Spain, Andújar, for a week now. We are attending classes with our exchange students and exploring the town. We've noticed a lot of things at school that are different compared to our school. The school day in general probably surprised us the most. Lessons always last an hour and you have a half-hour break after the third lesson. After that, there is no break until 2 pm. The lessons are also organized differently, as you don't really manage to cover much material in most classes. On the other hand, you have to do a lot of work at home for school, as you graduate at the end of year 11. All of this was quite new for us, but we were able to settle in well and get on well with our exchange family, the students and the teachers. Next week we will go through the classes to give our presentation on recycling.
The first week was successful for us to get settled in and get to know everything. We are excited to see what Spain has in store for us and look forward to the next few weeks.😍😍

Week 2
We have slowly started to get used to school here. We have started to take part in German lessons and help out. This way, the Spanish students also benefit from the fact that we are here. We have also got to know a lot of new people who we spend our time with here. Last but not least, we have explored the city a little every day and have also been to other cities. So we've really gotten to know life here. Our days this week were mostly spent at school from morning to midday and we took part in lessons as best we could. That wasn't easy, of course. In some subjects it went well when the teachers took us into consideration and spoke a little more slowly and clearly. But sometimes it was more difficult when the teachers spoke quickly and hardly paid any attention to us. But we slowly got used to it.
After school, we went home first and then did lots of things together in the afternoon. At the weekend, we went to a neighboring town and had a look around.
We think that this week was a very good and nice week, and we hope that next week will be just as nice and exciting.😍🇪🇺
