PHOENIX project is coming to an end...but we still have MANY stories to tell. Hear about the experience of Celeste in Princess Sumaya University For Technology!:

"This project has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in a privileged way, while simultaneously let me know one of the most magical places on the planet. Jordan is a country that mixes contemporary modernity with the most ancient and pure cultures[...]. I have also been able to improve and develop my language skills in both English and Arabic.

[...] On the other hand, in the personal sphere ... I do not know what I can say to express on paper so many feelings and experiences. Starting with culture, which was the first thing I experienced, Jordanians are mostly kind people, who always try to give their best and help you even though sometimes we can not speak the same language. Which I have to thank on more than one occasion.

The city of Amman is a mix between the chaos of a metropolitan city and the way of being relaxed of its inhabitants, I think you are never late to any place, and that feeling is thanked sometimes. On the other hand, every corner of that great city hides precious places, but if we move away from it we will find places as magical as the desert of Wadi Rum and the lost city of Petra. Places where you can disconnect from so much modernity and let yourself be carried away by the mystery of the great and ancient empires.

In short, it was a very nice experience that ended too soon.
But that leaves me great friendships and memories, which for sure will they make me return to Jordan."

PHOENIX 3RD COHORT RESULTS ARE ABOUT TO BE PUBLISHED! Check your email account for news, it will soon be published on our website (http://em-phoenix.eu/) as well.

We remind you that this last cohort was only open to European candidates.

If you are curious about how your life in the Middle East could be like, read the experience of Jose Carlos (UAL, Spain) in Jordan.

"During my four months in Jordan I met a lot of interesting people, I visited amazing places such as Petra or the Wadi Rum desert. It is a country full of excitement for all the five senses. The staff at Princess Sumaya University and the students are really kind, they helped me every time I needed. This experience made me grow personally and it is going to be positive in the long term and will influence my personal life as well as my working life."
