Dear Amanda,

May I kindly thank you and all WIS wonderful teachers for another great academic year at the school. I am delighted to see how my children have grown, both physically and mentally, throughout this year.

There have been several positive changes that made the school experience even better this year:

• The opening of the new building
• The introduction of the canteen
• The new teachers who joined the WIS team

I would like to express my special gratitude to:

• Mr. Cornish, Maths teacher, who has kept Boris’ interest in Maths at the highest level and made it possible for our school to participate successfully in the UK Maths Challenge, a nationwide mathematics competition. I hope that next year the school will continue to take part in the similar maths contests.

• Ms. Kelly, primary teacher for Years 3–4, who has been a wonderful teacher for the children and an incredible source of support for parents. I was very happy to see Alex motivated to learn throughout the year. Recognising his enthusiasm, Ms. Kelly consistently encouraged him by providing additional challenges that strengthened and broadened his knowledge.I also believe that Ms. Kelly’s approach to homework—completing a small amount every day—has been an absolute success. It has helped my son develop discipline while ensuring that he never felt overwhelmed by large amounts of homework accumulating for the weekend. I greatly appreciated the regular feedback Ms. Kelly shared regarding my son’s progress throughout the year. She has always been professional, approachable, and genuinely caring.

I would also like to thank Ms. Brassington, who is not only an excellent Spanish teacher but also an outstanding organiser of the school trips and activities. These events make school life even more memorable, and Ms. Brassington plays a huge role in making them happen.

I hope you will have a wonderful summer, and I look forward to bringing the children back to school in autumn.

What a fantastic day out for our little primary children at Río Safari Elche! 🦁🐒🦒
The children had an amazing time exploring the park, learning about a wide variety of animals, and enjoying the many educational experiences on offer. From close animal encounters to the safari train ride, it was a wonderful opportunity to bring learning to life outside the classroom while creating lasting memories with friends.

The park is well known for its educational visits and conservation work, making it an ideal destination for young learners. �

What an absolutely amazing day celebrating our Stars in Their Eyes performance and the graduation of our Year 6 and Year 11 students! 🌟🎓

Every single student who took to the stage performed brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of themselves.

The talent, confidence, enthusiasm and hard work on display were truly outstanding, and it was wonderful to see each child shine.

We would also like to congratulate our Year 6 and Year 11 graduates as they reach this important milestone in their educational journey. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success as they take their next steps.

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families and friends for your fantastic support and for such an amazing turnout. Your encouragement and partnership play a vital role in our school community, and it was wonderful to celebrate these special moments together.

A special thank you goes to our incredible staff team for their dedication, hard work and commitment in making the day such a success.

Events like these are only possible because of the passion and effort they put in behind the scenes.
