📣 Exciting News from Ljubljana! 🇸🇮

We've just wrapped up a fantastic and productive meeting (11-12 November) in Slovenia! 🤩

Delegates from 7 organisations across 5 EU countries 🇪🇺 came together for our Erasmus+ project, ‘School Teachers Learning’.

So, what's it all about? 🤔 We're on a mission to support secondary school teachers! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 Our goal is to provide them with the best training and resources to help prevent adolescent risk behaviours.

How are we doing it? 🚀 We are building a brand new Digital Platform packed with resources just for teachers! Inside, they'll find:

Online training modules 🎓

Tools to design and implement prevention systems in their schools 🛠️

A collection of best practices ✅

Policy recommendations 📝

What happened at the meeting? We reviewed the development of the final version of the platform! We're currently making it even better using all the brilliant feedback we got from teachers in 5 countries who participated in our pilot test. 💻✨

What's next? 👀 Get ready! We're now planning a series of online and onsite events for 2026 to launch the finished Digital Platform to teachers and stakeholders across the EU.

📚 Empowering Teachers Across Europe! 🌍

On 2–3 April 2025, our project partners from 5 EU countries came together in Zagreb 🇭🇷 for the Erasmus+ project School Teachers Learning.

The goal? To support secondary school teachers across Europe with training and tools to prevent adolescent risk behaviours.

💻 Together, we’re creating a Digital Platform packed with:
✅ Online training
✅ Tools to design and implement prevention systems
✅ A collection of good practices
✅ Policy recommendations

During the meeting, partners reviewed the results of our first pilot with teachers from across the EU and planned key improvements based on their feedback. We're now working on the final version of the platform, which will be available in six languages: English, Slovenian, Croatian, Spanish, Lithuanian, and Danish. Launch expected in February 2026!

Digital platform for secondary school teachers on adolescent risk behaviours

On 23rd and 24th January, delegates from the seven organisations from five EU countries participating in the Erasmus+ project ‘School Teachers Learning’ met in Alcala de Guadaira (Spain).
The objective of the project is to answer the training needs of secondary school teachers in the EU on the prevention of adolescent risk behaviours. To achieve this, the project partners will produce a Digital Platform for secondary school teachers with online training on this topic, tools for the design and implementation of prevention systems in their schools, a collection of good practices, and policy recommendations.
During the meeting in Alcala de Guadaira, the delegates from the seven partner organisations established the guidelines for the development of the digital platform and contents. Once the initial development is completed, the project partners will carry out trial implementation involving secondary school teachers and students from five EU countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Lithuania and Denmark. Based on the results from the trial implementations, the partners will improve and publish the definite version of the digital platform and contents in six languages (English, Slovenian, Croatian, Spanish, Lithuanian, and Danish).

This project is a joint initiative of UTRIP Institute (Slovenia), the Laboratory for Prevention Research from the University of Zagreb (Croatia), and five schools: Šolski center Rogaška Slatina (Slovenia), Skola za grafiku, dizajn i medijsku produkciju (Croatia), IES Profesor Tierno Galván (Spain), Vilniaus kunigaikscio Gedimino progimnazija (Lituania), Ringsted Ny Friskole (Denmark).
