¡Nuestro último “SPECIAL DAY” ya está aquí! 🚲🛴✨
Las aulas se han movido sobre ruedas con nuestro Wheeled Sports Day. Una jornada donde la diversión y el aprendizaje van de la mano. En la etapa de Infantil, esta actividad es clave para trabajar tres pilares fundamentales:
🚦 Educación Vial y Respeto: Practicamos en un circuito real con señales, semáforos y pasos de cebra para aprender a circular respetando a los demás.
🧠 Desarrollo Psicomotriz: ¡A tope de equilibrio y coordinación! Mejoramos la orientación espacial disfrutando del deporte al aire libre.
🎒 Autonomía y Responsabilidad: Cada peque se hace cargo de su vehículo, se pone su casco y aprende a cuidar su material.
¡Una forma sobre ruedas de aprender jugando! 🌟

Our last “SPECIAL DAY” is finally here! 🚲🛴✨
Classrooms rolled into action with our Wheeled Sports Day—a day where fun and learning go hand in hand. In Early Years, this activity is key to developing three fundamental pillars:
🚦 Road Safety & Respect: We practice on a real circuit with signs, traffic lights, and crosswalks to learn how to navigate while respecting others.
🧠 Psychomotor Development: Balancing and coordination at their finest! We improve spatial awareness while enjoying outdoor sports.
🎒 Autonomy & Responsibility: Each little one takes charge of their own vehicle, puts on their helmet, and learns to take care of their equipment.
A wheel-y fun way to learn through play! 🌟

Hoy 21 de junio se celebra el Día Europeo de la Música, una jornada mágica que coincide con el solsticio de verano y que nos invita a todos a sintonizar con la belleza de las melodías. ☀️🎻

¿Sabías que esta maravillosa tradición nació en Francia? 🇫🇷 En 1976 el músico Joël Cohen propuso organizar audiciones durante los solsticios, y más tarde, en 1982, el ministro de cultura Jack Lang impulsó la célebre Fête de la Musique, abriendo las calles a artistas profesionales y aficionados de forma gratuita. En 1985, la idea traspasó fronteras para convertirse en un símbolo de unión europea. 🤝🇪🇺

En el Colegio Internacional Obradoiro y en nuestro Conservatorio Profesional de Música, creemos que la educación artística es un pilar fundamental para formar ciudadanos sensibles, expresivos y de mentalidad abierta. ¡Enhorabuena a todos los que ponéis banda sonora a nuestras vidas cada día! 🎹❤️

On June 21st, we celebrate the European Day of Music, a magical day aligned with the summer solstice that invites us all to connect with the power of melody. ☀️🎻

Did you know this beautiful tradition started in France? 🇫🇷 In 1976, musician Joël Cohen proposed organizing performances during the solstices, and later, in 1982, Culture Minister Jack Lang launched the famous Fête de la Musique, opening the streets to professional and amateur musicians for free. In 1985, this concept expanded across borders as the European Day of Music. 🤝🇪🇺

At Obradoiro International School and our Professional Music Conservatory, we strongly believe that artistic education is essential to building creative, expressive, and open-minded global citizens. Congratulations to all who bring harmony to our lives every day! 🎹❤️

Obradoiro Fashion Week: ¡El aprendizaje se sube a la pasarela! 👗✨
Nuestros pequeños diseñadores de Educación Infantil han brillado con luz propia en una pasarela muy especial. Para cerrar el trimestre con broche de oro, cada alumno ha diseñado su propio chaleco de letras:
3️⃣ años: ¡Explorando el mundo de las vocales!
4️⃣ y 5️⃣ años: Investigando y dando vida a las consonantes.
Nuestros peques han demostrado que aprender a leer y escribir puede ser una aventura creativa y llena de estilo. Esta actividad no solo refuerza su conciencia fonológica, sino que potencia su expresividad y, sobre todo, les ayuda a construir una gran confianza en sí mismos al desfilar frente a sus compañeros. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de su valentía y entusiasmo! ❤️

Our young Early Years designers shone bright on a very special runway. To wrap up the term in style, each student designed their very own alphabet vest:
3️⃣ years old: Exploring the world of vowels!
4️⃣ & 5️⃣ years old: Investigating and bringing consonants to life.
Our little ones have shown us that learning to read and write can be a creative adventure full of style. This activity not only strengthens their phonological awareness, but it also boosts their self-expression and, above all, helps them build confidence as they step out in front of their peers. We are incredibly proud of their bravery and enthusiasm! ❤️

Nuestros alumnos del Programa de los Años Intermedios (PAI) del Bachillerato Internacional han celebrado su esperada Exposición. Tras meses de rigurosa investigación, pensamiento crítico y esfuerzo constante, han abierto las puertas a sus familias y amigos para presentar con orgullo sus proyectos finales. 🏛️💬
Cada proyecto es el reflejo de sus pasiones, de su autonomía y de las habilidades de indagación que han desarrollado a lo largo de esta etapa. Ha sido emocionante verlos compartir su conocimiento y responder a los retos del mundo real con tanta madurez. ¡Enhorabuena por vuestro gran trabajo y gracias a toda la comunidad por acompañarnos en este día tan especial! 💙

MYP Exhibition: A passion for research and knowledge! 🧠✨
Our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) students held their highly anticipated Exhibition. After months of rigorous research, critical thinking, and hard work, they opened their doors to friends and family to proudly showcase their final projects. 🏛️💬
Each project reflects their unique passions, autonomy, and the inquiry skills they have developed throughout this stage. It was inspiring to watch them share their knowledge and tackle real-world challenges with such maturity. Congratulations to everyone on your incredible hard work, and thank you to our entire community for joining us on this special day! 💙
