تكوين جمل
استخدام قاعدة There is بسيط جداً؛ فنحن نستخدمها للإشارة إلى وجود شيء واحد (مفرد) أو شيء غير معدود.
أولاً: جمل مثبتة (Affirmative)
* There is a pen on the table. (يوجد قلم على الطاولة)
* There is a big tree in the garden. (توجد شجرة كبيرة في الحديقة)
* There is some milk in the fridge. (يوجد بعض الحليب في الثلاجة)
* There is a car in front of the house. (توجد سيارة أمام المنزل)
* There is a fly in my soup! (توجد ذبابة في حسائي!)
* There is an apple in my bag. (توجد تفاحة في حقيبتي)
* There is a picture on the wall. (توجد صورة على الحائط)
* There is a cat under the chair. (توجد قطة تحت الكرسي)
* There is some water in the glass. (يوجد بعض الماء في الكأس)
* There is a man waiting for you. (يوجد رجل ينتظرك)
* There is a post office near here. (يوجد مكتب بريد بالقرب من هنا)
* There is a mistake in your homework. (يوجد خطأ في واجبك)
* There is a lot of sugar in this tea. (يوجد الكثير من السكر في هذا الشاي)
* There is a bird on the roof. (يوجد طائر على السطح)
* There is a new restaurant in town. (يوجد مطعم جديد في المدينة)

ثانياً: جمل منفية (Negative)
* There is not a cloud in the sky. (لا توجد سحابة في السماء)
* There isn't any bread left. (لا يوجد أي خبز متبقٍ)
* There is no time to waste. (لا يوجد وقت لنضيعه)
* There isn't a bank on this street. (لا يوجد بنك في هذا الشارع)
* There isn't any juice in the bottle. (لا يوجد أي عصير في الزجاجة)
* There is not a single person here. (لا يوجد شخص واحد هنا)
* There isn't a problem with the car. (لا توجد مشكلة في السيارة)
* There isn't a lift in this building. (لا يوجد مصعد في هذا المبنى)
* There is no salt in the food. (لا يوجد ملح في الطعام)
* There isn't a cinema in this village. (لا توجد سينما في هذه القرية)
ثالثاً: جمل استفهامية (Questions)
* Is there a toilet here? (هل يوجد مرحاض هنا؟)
* Is there any ice cream? (هل يوجد أي آيس كريم؟)
* Is there a doctor on the plane? (هل يوجد طبيب على الطائرة؟)
* Is there a reason for this? (هل يوجد سبب لهذا؟)
* Is there a hotel nearby? (هل يوجد فندق قريب؟)
* Is there any news? (هل هناك أي أخبار؟)
* Is there a Wi-Fi connection? (هل يوجد اتصال واي فاي؟)
