WE-Data is currently hiring IT Network Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex network and services issues
• Maintain internal network structure of a Data Center by managing switches & routers and keeping them running.
• Install, configure, and maintain Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi.
• Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of network administration and firmware integration
• Monitor the environmental conditions of a Data Center to ensure they are optimum for switches, routers, and other devices
• Perform system repairs and update software/operating systems
• Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a Data Center.
• Handle Day-to-Day operation mails, and Tickets.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of work experience in a similar field. LAN/WAN/ Wireless Technologies.
• Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP.
• Switching. (STP – VRRP – HSRP – VSS).
• Cisco, Juniper, Aruba technologies.
• Reverse engineering and troubleshooting.
• Network scripting/automation (e.g., Python). Is a plus.
• Data Centre Technologies (VCF - Fabric Path - ACI - NSX - VPC). Is a plus.

Education & certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in any of computer science, computer systems engineering, electronic engineering, and other related disciplines.
• Cisco CCNA is a must.

A Technical Support Engineer will research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner. You will be responsible for working with different systems, software, and hardware and follow standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal departments.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Engineering/ computer science
CCNA certified
CCNP is a plus
0-3 years of experience in the network field Skills
Very good English both spoken and written
Excellent problem-solving skills
The capacity to work well within a team
Attention to detail
Logical thinking
Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works
Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers
The ability to prioritize your workload.
The capacity to clearly explain a technical problem to a customer/colleague
Outstanding listening and questioning skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide the front-line support for enterprise customers
- Troubleshooting customers physical and logical problems – Configuring CPE devices
- Proactive Monitoring
- Handling customers configuration requests on their routers
