/b/ or /p/ ?
Although Arabic language does not have the /p/ sound, but sometimes you will hear it in few words, do not be confused it's not another letter. /b/ and /p/ for Arabic audio discrimination is one letter ب the standard pronunciation for ب is /b/ "Bilabial, plosive, voiced" but in few Arabic words and according to the surrounding sounds it will be devoiced , i.e. loss its voicing to turn into the sound /p/ "Bilabial , plosive, voiceless" , this phenomena can be founded in any language and it called "assimilation"
