About me:


I am a full-time teacher of Arabic in Cairo, and teaching Arabic is my greatest passion. I have helped dozens of students move from square one to some of the very highest levels of Arabic proficiency. I’ve trained Diplomats, Business owners, tourists, and military translators, as well as their spouses. Some of my students have done so well that they have even gone on to appear on television and others have become Arabic teachers themselves! I want to help you reach your goals as an Arabic student and allow you to experience Egyptian culture, as the biggest country in the Middle East and the biggest producer of films, music, and plays, and literature, the Egyptian dialect has become the most understood dialect in the Arab world and the most important. I can help you understand and speak the dialects of neighboring Arabic countries as well as the different dialects that exist here in Egypt, I help people reach native speaker level pronunciation. I have experience helping people progress through a rigorous 12 level curriculum to professional level fluency, I also have experience in instructional design. One of the beautiful things about Arabic is that it is not composed of just one register! It has more than one level of formality depending on the situation, and I can help you navigate the differences so that you can communicate.
