Scientific information for grade 5.

These are pictures of the runoff.
Runoff is a water body that is formed of water from rain or melting of snow and moves into rivers or the ground.

It occurs when there is more water than land can absorb. The excess liquid flows across the surface of the land and into nearby creeks, streams, or ponds. Runoff can come from both natural processes and human activity.

There are three types of runoff :
-surface runoff (water flows above the ground's surface).
-interflow runoff (water flows underground just below the land's surface), and.
-base flow runoff (water flows deep within the ground's saturated zone).

We often use the words 'mass' and 'weight' interchangeably, but they mean quite different things. Your mass is the same no matter where you go in the universe; your weight, on the other hand, changes from place to place

Plants need to intake carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is an essential part of photosynthesis. It is converted by solar energy into sugar which fuels the plant’s growth. Stomata aid in this process by harvesting the carbon dioxide

The Circulatory system in the human contains

blood.

Transport system in the plant

The Plant has ( xylem and phloem )

Plants prepare their food from carbon dioxide and water in their leaves.

To supply water and minerals to the plant and to transport food prepared in the leaves to the various parts of the plant like roots and stem Transport system is required.

Both Xylem and phloem tissues carry substances from one part of the plant body to another.

Xylem transports water and minerals obtained from the soil.

Phloem transports products of photosynthesis from leaves to other parts of the plant.

It's a tiny animal with very large ears , small eyes and hind legs 🤗🤍

As we see , there are 2 types of animals that can hunt in the night , why ?
Excellent 😊👍 .. they have a great ability of sight , they have a strong vision that allows them to hunt in the middle of the night.

Panther chameleon is a type of lizards , and as we know that lizards are from reptiles that are an ancient type of animals
What can we see in those pictures ?
Excellent 😊👍 .. we can see panther chameleons that do camouflage to survive
As we know .. panther chameleons have 2 types of adaptation ( structure and behavior) 🤍🤗
