Symposiums on Constitutional Amendments at Minia University Under the auspices of Minia University President Prof. Mostafa Abd El Naby, Minia university continues its educational discussions on the proposed constitutional amendments, from the duration of 10 to 28 current March, as a bid to increase the students’ awareness about their political rights and the concept of constitution with pinpointing on the constitutional subjects concerning youth to enable them socially and politically. . Whereas, three symposiums were held in faculties of dar al-uloom, education of early childhood and education, and lectured by dean of faculty of law Prof. Hassan Sanad, professor of Law Prof. Amr Mazyon, in the presence of faculty dean of dar al-uloom Prof. Mohamed El Rehany, of faculty dean of early childhood Prof . Eid Abd El Wahed, university president’s advisor for students activities Prof. Hany El Araby, faculty vice dean of early childhood Prof. Salwa Abd el Salam, rapporteur of “For Egypt ” team Prof. Hossam Abd El Rahman, faculty activities coordinator of early childhood Prof. Ghada Farghal, activities coordinator of faculty of education Prof. Hanaa Abd El Hamid. The symposiums witnessed a number of discussions including the reasons to amend constitution during the recent time and its impact on the 2030 target for sustainable development .

Workshop on Egyptian Government Excellence Award

Workshop on Egyptian Government Excellence Award In the light of launching the 2030 agenda for sustainable development in addition to Minia University’s role in serving the educational performance quality and the physical and human resources of state institutions, Minia University president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El Naby has announced that all university’s faculties would submit to the Egyptian Government Excellence Award as it works as a general indicator of the capabilities and achievements of institutions. He has referred that number of workshops already have been held in some faculties to train to apply, adding that faculty of pharmacy’s quality assurance unit therefore has organized a workshop on preparing to Egyptian Government Excellence Award which launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The workshop has been attended by faculty’s dean Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd El Aziz, faculty’s vice dean for postgraduate affairs Prof. Dr. Gamal El din Abo Rahma, faculty’s vice dean for students affairs Prof. Dr. Mostafa Fouad, the executive manager for faculty’s quality assurance unit Prof. Dr. Eman Zekra and number of academic members involved in preparing the submission. During the workshop, it has been taken over the goals of Egypt Vision 2030 and its trends and their compatibility with the faculty’s strategic plan according to the available possibilities.

Cultural Symposium in Faculty of Agriculture The community service sector of faculty of agriculture, under the auspices of Minia university president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El Naby and vice president for community service affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Galal Hassan, organized a cultural symposium on the role of media in the agricultural development with the aim to increase the cognitive awareness among students. The symposium was lectured by the Television Presenter of Channel "1" Khaled Saad Kotb in the presence of the faculty's dean Prof. Dr. Adel Abullah, vice dean for postgraduate studies Prof.Dr. Harby Matarid, vice dean for students affairs Prof. Dr. Hussien Abd El Gelil, the faculty of agriculture dean of Omdurman university Prof. Dr. El Rashid Sadeek Ebrahim, the faculty of cultural activities coordinator Prof. Dr Gamal Fakhry, academic staff members, employees and students.

Inauguration of the 9th International Conference of Faculty of Dar Uloom Faculty of dar uloom inaugurates the ninth international conference, under the theme “Interdisciplinary Studies in Arabic and Islamic Sciences in the light of Technological and Cognitive Acceleration”, on the period 24 to 26 March, 2019. The conference is held under the aegis of Minister of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Khaled Abd El Ghafar, Minia Governor Maj. Gen. Qasem Hussien and Minia university president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El Naby, in the presence of Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments (Awqaf) Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mukhtar Gomaa, with participation of 15 Arabian, Asian and African states.

The 6th Cultural Book Fair in Minia University

The 6th Cultural Book Fair in Minia University The University Students Union’s cultural committee, in cooperation with Azbakia Library, organizes the sixth book fair under the auspices of Minia University president Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abd El Naby. The fair aims to promote the university’s role in increasing of students’ awareness in various fields in addition to boost the reading skill in minds. The book fair includes more than 600 books in social, artistic, religious, political and intellectual fields at low prices for students with discount up to 10 % as a bid to encourage students for reading. The fair is continuing to the end of the week. The fair events are attended by Prof. Hany El Araby, university president’s advisor for the students’ activities administration, Mr. Walid Abd El Kawy, manager of the students care and Mr. Mohsen Sayed, manager of the students’ union administration.

The 2019 International Summer Program in Mexico

The Program is taught in English and its curriculum focuses on the study of Mexican and Latin American realities as approached by the faculty at El Colegio de México. Sports Day in Faculties of Pharmacy and Tourism & Hotels

In line with the initiative of Minia university president Prof. Mostafa Abd El Naby to organize a sports day at all faculties, faculties of pharmacy and tourism &hotels held a recreational sports day to reinforce the fraternal relations between teaching staff, employees and students. The ceremony was attended by dean of faculty of tourism & hotels Prof.Dr. Samah Abd El Rahman, dean of faculty of pharmacy Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd El Aziz, tourism’s vice dean for education affairs Prof. Dr. Sayed Abbas, tourism’s vice dean for community service affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Antar, pharmacy’s vice dean for education affairs Prof. Dr. Mostafa Fouad, pharmacy’s vice dean for postgraduate affairs Prof. Dr. Gmal Abo Rahma, pharmacy’s environment affairs vice dean Prof. Dr. Hatem Abd El monsef, chairman of the tourism studies department Dr. Mohamed Ezzat, the two faculties’ teaching staff, employees and students.
