Anthurium is an extremely showy representative of the tropical flora with bright flowers and attractive leaves native to the New World. Unusual anthurium inflorescences are compact, cylindrical or tail-shaped cobs of original structure, consisting of many small flowers.
Various types of anthurium often resemble exotic birds in their appearance, therefore they are also called "flamingo flowers". Thanks to the genuine exoticism of deep red, pink, white and even chocolate-brown flowers with an original inflower leaf-bedspread, this plant always looks bright and passionate, but at the same time noble and sophisticated. For this reason, anthurium is sometimes called the "flower of love".
The very catchy and sometimes even aggressive beauty of anthurium has long been associated with vital activity and temperamental pressure, and the upward-flowing inflorescences symbolize a truly masculine principle. That is why this flower often becomes an indispensable base for the best men's bouquets.
Also, an advantageous property of anthurium from the point of view of floristry is the plasticity of its stem, due to which the flower can be given various positions in the most complex compositions.
