How would you describe Laylat-al-Qadr in English?

-Laylat-al-Qadr is the holiest night of Ramadan.
- It's when Quran was first revealed to Prophet Mohammad.
- It may fall on any of the odd nights in the last ten days of Ramadan. During this period, Muslims raise their piety.
- It's said that acts of goodness and night prayers carried out on Laylat-al-Qadr are better than those carried out over 83 years.

نزل فيها القرآن على النبي.

How would you clarify the Itikaf in English?

- Itikaf is the practice of spiritual retreat or isolation.
- Muslims practice Itikaaf during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
- It can be achieved in a mosque or at home.
- It requires Muslims to dedicate their time solely to prayer, reflection and recitation of the Quran.

الاعتكاف هو ممارسة التراجع الروحي أو العزلة
يمارسها بعض المسلمين خلال العشر الأواخر من رمضان.
يمكن إكماله في مسجد أو في المنزل ويتطلب من المسلمين
تكريس وقتهم فقط للصلاة والتأمل وتلاوة القرآن.

ازاى تشرح الإفطار بالانجليزى؟

الإفطار هو وجبة لإنهاء الصيام خلال اليوم فى وقت غروب الشمس.
الإفطار هو الوقت المناسب للتجمع مع العائلة والأصدقاء لتناول الإفطار ،
وعادة ما يتكون من الواجبات الاساسة التقليدية وبعدها الحلويات.

How would you explain the Qada to an English speaker?

- Qada is making up for the missed Islamic duty.
- During Ramadan, this typically refers to making up missed fasts due to travelling, sickness etc.
- Qada fasting can occur on any day of the year, except on Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha days.
- Muslims are required to fast during Ramadan unless they are unwell, travelling or menstruating.

القضاء يعني تعويض الفريضة الإسلامية.
خلال شهر رمضان ، عادتا بيشير إلى قضاء الصوم بسبب السفر والمرض وغيره ،
وبالتالي ، ممكن الصيام في أي يوم من أيام السنة ، باستثناء عيد الفطر وعيد الأضحى.
فالقضاء يطبق فى حالة عدم امكانية صيام المسلمين في رمضان مريض أو يسافرون أو حائض.

How would you describe Kaffara in English?

- Kaffara is a penalty or expiation offered when one deliberately breaks their fast.
- To conduct Kaffara, a Muslim must fast for sixty continuous days.
- If they are incapable of fasting, thus they should feed sixty underprivileged persons or donate an amount equal to providing food to sixty persons to charity instead.

ازاى تشرح الكفارة بالانجليزى؟

الكفارة هي عقوبة أو فعل لتكفير عن الأفطار عمدا.
لإكمال الكفارة، لازم على المسلم أن يصوم ستين يومًا متواصلة.
فلو مش قادر على الصيام، فيجب إطعام ستين شخصًا محرومًا أو التبرع للجمعيات الخيرية بمبلغ يساوي توفير الطعام لستين شخصًا محتاج.
