Around the world in 80 days with Mr. Fogg

Amir was a young man with a passion for exploration. He had heard tales of an ancient bridge hidden somewhere in the old forest near his village—a bridge that had supposedly been built centuries ago and forgotten over time. The locals whispered that it led to a place "beyond ordinary sights," a place that only the brave would dare to explore.
One misty morning, Amir decided he would be the one to find it. He packed his bag, took a flashlight, and set off toward the forest. The trees stood tall and silent as he ventured deeper, and soon, he could barely see the sunlight filtering through the thick branches above. The forest was eerily quiet, as if it were holding its breath, waiting.
After hours of wandering, just when he began to doubt the existence of the bridge, he saw it. Half-hidden by vines and moss, an old stone bridge stretched across a narrow but deep river. It was unlike anything Amir had ever seen—massive, ancient stones stacked together, weathered by time yet sturdy. He felt an irresistible pull to cross it.
Taking a deep breath, Amir stepped onto the bridge. Each step echoed in the stillness, and he felt as if he were crossing into another world. As he reached the center, a sudden chill ran down his spine. The air felt different—colder, heavier.
On the other side of the bridge, he found himself in a strange landscape. The trees were twisted in unnatural shapes, and the ground was covered in a mist that clung to his feet as he walked. It was both haunting and beautiful, like a forgotten dream. Amir felt a strange sense of peace mixed with unease.
As he continued, he noticed peculiar objects scattered along the path—old toys, faded photographs, and even a rusty key. Each item seemed to tell a story, as if they belonged to people who had walked this path before him. He picked up a photograph, its edges worn, showing a family smiling. He wondered what had happened to them, and why they had left these things behind.
Suddenly, he heard a faint voice calling his name. "Amir…" It was soft, almost like a whisper carried by the wind. His heart raced. He turned, but no one was there. Feeling a strange urge, he followed the voice, which seemed to lead him deeper into this eerie world.
After walking for what felt like hours, he found himself standing before a tall, mysterious gate. Its iron bars were twisted, and through them, he could see a garden filled with strange, glowing plants. The voice grew louder, urging him to enter.
Amir hesitated. He felt a mixture of fear and curiosity, but his desire to know what lay beyond the gate was stronger. He pushed it open and stepped inside. The plants glowed brighter, illuminating a path that led to an old stone bench. On it sat an old man with wise, knowing eyes.
"Welcome, Amir," the man said with a gentle smile. "I knew you would come."
"Who are you?" Amir asked, his voice barely a whisper.
"I am the guardian of this realm, a place where people come to find answers they seek in their hearts," the man replied. "You have questions, don’t you?"
Amir nodded, unable to find the right words. It was true—he had always felt a yearning to understand the world, to know the secrets hidden within it.
The man looked at him thoughtfully. "The answers you seek are not here in words, but in the journey you take and the choices you make. Remember, Amir, sometimes we find our way by crossing bridges we never knew existed."
With that, the old man stood and began to fade into the mist, leaving Amir alone in the glowing garden. A sense of peace filled Amir as he realized that his journey was just beginning. He had come to this strange place seeking answers, but he left with something more valuable—a newfound sense of purpose and the courage to face the unknown.
As Amir walked back toward the bridge, he looked over his shoulder one last time, knowing he would never forget this place. When he finally crossed back into the forest, the mist cleared, and he found himself standing in the familiar sunlight. The ancient bridge, however, had vanished, as if it had never been there.
Amir smiled to himself, understanding that some mysteries were meant to remain a part of the journey, guiding him forward in ways he would only realize with time.
Now that we've heard Amir's fascinating journey, let's think a bit deeper about the
story! Here are some questions to help us explore Amir's adventure and understand what he experienced. Feel free to share your answers, especially for the last question—we’d love to hear your thoughts!
Why was Amir so curious about finding the ancient bridge?
What did Amir find on the other side of the bridge?
Why do you think Amir found old objects like toys and photographs on the path?
Who did Amir meet in the glowing garden?
What message did the old man give Amir?
How did Amir feel when he returned to his village after his journey?
If you were Amir, would you have crossed the bridge? Why or why not? (Encourage listeners to answer this question!)
What do you think Amir learned from his adventure?

In a small, isolated village, far from the bustling cities, lived a man who worked hard every day, finding pride in his labor. His job, though sometimes hazardous, filled him with purpose, as he admired the exquisite beauty of the forest he worked in.
One day, he encountered a suspicious stranger who seemed discouraged and lost. Although wary, the man decided to help him. "You don’t need to feel discouraged," he said. "Trust that this forest, though it may seem dangerous and isolated, has a safe path for those who admire its beauty."
As they walked, the man spoke about the hazards of his work and the times he had to depart from his family to brave the forest’s depths. The stranger, at first distrusting, gradually found himself admiring the man’s bravery.
By the end of their journey, they reached a small, safe clearing, where the stranger thanked him. They parted ways, no longer strangers, but friends who had learned to trust and encourage each other through life’s challenges.

Title: "The Shifting Paths✨🌕
Hamza was an ordinary man with an unassuming life until one fateful night. As he lay in bed, barely able to keep his eyes open, he felt something strange—a pulling sensation as if his body was being lifted out of his own room. It was disorienting, but he couldn’t resist. Darkness swept over him, and he felt himself descending deeper and deeper, as though he were falling through layers of unseen worlds.
When he opened his eyes, Hamza was standing on a cobblestone path in a place he’d never seen. The sky was a dim, endless twilight, neither day nor night. Above him, stars shone in bizarre constellations he didn’t recognize, forming shapes and patterns that twisted and shifted as he watched. Trees surrounded him, their branches tangled together like webs, and in the distance, rivers flowed uphill and disappeared into the mist.
In this world, silence was deep and unsettling. The air itself felt thick with secrets.
He took a cautious step forward, noticing an old signpost by the side of the road. It was weathered and covered in strange carvings, but one phrase was clear:
"To find the door that faces west,
Answer true, and you may rest.
Turn wrong, and worlds collide—
You’re forever lost inside."
Hamza’s heart raced as he read it, realizing that he was trapped in this world unless he could solve the riddle. But it wasn’t just a riddle—it was a test, a warning that the wrong answer could leave him stranded here, perhaps forever.
Ahead of him lay three narrow paths, each one winding deeper into the strange forest. He took a deep breath and ventured down the middle path. After walking for a while, he arrived at a clearing where three ancient doors stood, each different in design and with symbols etched into the wood.
The first door was carved with a circle divided by three lines, almost like a wheel or a clock. It felt oddly familiar, as if it represented something fundamental about the nature of time.
The second door had a star inside a hexagon, its edges sharp and precise. It seemed to radiate an energy that was both welcoming and unsettling, as if it held ancient wisdom but also danger.
The third door bore a simple symbol: an arrow pointing straight up, bold and direct. It was the most unassuming of the three, yet something about it suggested that this path might lead upwards, perhaps back to the world he knew.
Hamza looked back at the sign’s words. “Find the door that faces west…” he repeated quietly. But how was he supposed to know which one was west in a place where time and space seemed fluid and ever-changing?
Suddenly, he noticed something strange: the stars above him seemed to shift slightly each time he looked away. There was a certain pattern to it, almost as if they were pointing him somewhere. The constellations overhead began to align in a way that felt intentional, forming an arrow that pointed toward the second door—the one with the star inside the hexagon.
As he stood before it, Hamza remembered the next part of the sign’s warning: "Answer true, and you may rest." There was no way back without choosing, yet each door seemed to echo with hidden secrets. He was starting to doubt himself when he noticed another detail: faint scratch marks on the ground, as though someone—or something—had been here before him.
The scratch marks seemed to lead toward the first door, the one with the divided circle. But the more he looked, the more he realized the scratches didn’t stop at the door. They went through it—as if whoever came before had tried to escape and failed.
Hamza took a deep breath, deciding to trust his instincts. He stood before the door with the star and hexagon, recalling the part about worlds colliding. This door felt like it held the power to move him through dimensions, maybe back to his own.
With a trembling hand, he pushed the door open and stepped through.
On the other side, he found himself in another strange world, this one even more surreal. He realized his journey wasn’t over. Instead, he was pulled into another realm with yet another puzzle.
