One of the best things about this training is what happens at the end of it.
From the second year on, our students work inside one real hotel, two weeks there, one week in school, again and again. After two years of that, the hotel knows them: their name, their work, how they handle a busy evening. That is why many of them are offered a job by the hotel that trained them, sometimes before they even graduate.
And because the diploma follows German IHK standards, it is understood far beyond El Gouna: in Cairo, in Europe, in hotels all over the world.
A profession you can carry with you. That is the whole idea.

Das Schönste an dieser Ausbildung ist das, was am Ende passiert.
Ab dem zweiten Lehrjahr arbeiten unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler in einem echten Hotel – zwei Wochen dort, eine Woche in der Schule, immer wieder. Nach zwei Jahren kennt das Hotel sie längst: ihren Namen, ihre Arbeit, wie sie an einem vollen Abend reagieren. Deshalb bekommen viele von ihnen ein Jobangebot von genau dem Hotel, das sie ausgebildet hat, manchmal schon vor dem Abschluss.
Und weil der Abschluss den deutschen IHK-Richtlinien folgt, versteht man ihn weit über El Gouna hinaus: in Kairo, in Europa, in Hotels auf der ganzen Welt.
Ein Beruf, den man überallhin mitnehmen kann. Genau darum geht es.
