🌙 Manners of Prayer (Adab As-Salah)
Prayer is the pillar of Islam and the mark of a true believer. It was the Prophet’s ﷺ final advice to his Ummah and will be the first deed a person is held accountable for on the Day of Judgment.
الله تعالى يقول
وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ
💫 Among the manners of performing prayer:
Eagerness for prayer and performing it early
الله تعالى يقول
حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ

Avoid praying when food is served
The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no prayer when food is present, nor when one needs to relieve oneself.

Using a sutrah (barrier) while praying
The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you prays, let him pray toward a sutrah and draw near to it.

Calmness and tranquility
The Prophet ﷺ said: The prayer of a person who does not straighten his back in bowing and prostration is invalid.

Using the siwak before every prayer
The Prophet ﷺ said: If it were not that I might overburden my followers, I would have commanded them to use the siwak before every prayer.
