Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines are automated devices that make industrial components without direct human assistance. They use coded instructions that are sent to an internal computer, which allows factories to fabricate parts accurately and quickly.

In Mechanical Design and Production Engineering Department you will be able to:

Have you ever wondered how things like inline skate wheels and electric motors spin so smoothly and quietly? The answer can be found in a neat little machine called a bearing.
Bearings make many of the machines we use every day possible. Without bearings, we would be constantly replacing parts that wore out from friction. They are found in several home appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, dishwashers, fans) as well as in automobiles and motorcycles.

In Mechanical Design and Production Engineering Department you will be able to:

Transmission gear box is a typical mechanical application developed by mechanical engineers. Power is transmitted from the car engine to the driving cars through the gears. Gear boxes include many mechanical elements such as gears, clutches, shafts, bearings. Automatic transmission includes feedback from the wheels to automatically select the suitable gear meshing. Interesting development is performed in car industry to improve the car performance and design better engines and gear boxes.
