Education For Employment-Egypt (EFE-Egypt) proudly hosted the 5th Annual Community Iftar under the theme “Empowering Youth through Strategic TVET Programs and Sustainable Employment Opportunities.”

مؤسسة التعليم من أجل التوظيف-مصر نظمت الإفطار السنوي الخامس تحت شعار "تمكين الشباب من خلال برامج استراتيجية في التعليم والتدريب المهني والتقني وفرص العمل المستدامة".

The evening brought together leaders from government, the private sector, and development partners to celebrate collaboration and reaffirm a shared commitment to empowering Egyptian youth with market-relevant skills and sustainable employment opportunities.

جمع الحدث قادة من الحكومة والقطاع الخاص والشركاء التنمويين للاحتفال بالتعاون وتعزيز الالتزام المشترك بـ تمكين الشباب المصري من اكتساب المهارات الملائمة لسوق العمل وفرص التوظيف المستدامة.

The event was supported by International Labour Organization ILO Cairo منظمة العمل الدولية بالقاهرة–PROSPECTS, Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, and Brighter Vision Foundation, strengthening pathways for youth employment across Egypt.

وقد تم تنظيم الحدث بدعم من منظمة العمل الدولية-آفاق، ومؤسسة ساويرس للتنمية الاجتماعية، ومؤسسة Brighter Vision، لتعزيز مسارات توظيف الشباب في مصر.

The program began with Opening Remarks by Nora Abou El Seoud, CEO of EFE-Egypt, who highlighted the power of partnerships in creating meaningful employment pathways for young people.

بدأ البرنامج بـكلمة افتتاحية من نوره أبو السعود، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة التعليم من أجل التوظيف-مصر، حيث سلطت الضوء على قوة الشراكات في خلق مسارات توظيف حقيقية وفعّالة للشباب.

This was followed by inspiring keynote speeches from:
•Dr. Nesreen El-Baghdadi, Vice President of the National Council for Women
•Mrs. Nancy Abdelaziz, General Manager of Economic Empowerment, Development and Investment Sector, Ministry of Social Solidarity
•Nanees Al-Naqouri, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Central Administration for Youth Empowerment, Ministry of Youth and Sports

تلا ذلك خطاب رئيسي من:
•د. نسرين البغدادي، نائب رئيس المجلس القومي للمرأة
•السيدة نانسي عبدالعزيز، المدير العام لتمكين الاقتصاد، قطاع التنمية والاستثمار، وزارة التضامن الاجتماعي
•نانيس الناقوري، نائب وزير الشباب والرياضة ورئيس الإدارة المركزية
لتمكين الشباب، وزارة الشباب والرياضة

A dynamic panel discussion titled “From Local TVET Skills to Global Mobility: Opportunity or Risk?” explored the evolving landscape of workforce mobility and skills development. The panel featured valuable insights from:
•Manal Amin, CEO of Arabize – Moderator
•Nader Bissada, Lead Service Sales Manager, Siemens Energy
•Dalia Mahmoud, Skills Development – National Project Coordinator, PROSPECTS, ILO Egypt
•Mona Ayoub, Director of Competence Center Skills & Training, AHK Egypt
•Menna Muhammed, Partnerships & Job Placement Officer, EFE-Egypt.

شهد الحدث حلقة نقاش ديناميكية بعنوان "من مهارات التدريب الفني والمهني المحلي إلى التنقل العالمي: فرصة أم خطر؟" والتي استعرضت التحديات والفرص في مجال تنقل المهارات وسوق العمل. قدمت الحلقة رؤى قيمة من:
•منال أمين، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة أرابايز – مديرة الجلسة
•نادر بسادة، مدير خدمة المبيعات، سيمنس للطاقة
•داليا محمود، منسقة المشروع الوطني لتطوير المهارات، منظمة العمل الدولية-آفاق
•منى أيوب، مديرة مركز الكفاءات للتدريب والمهارات
•منة محمد، مسؤول شراكات وتوظيف، مؤسسة التعليم من أجل التوظيف-مصر

A key highlight of the evening was the signing of several partnership agreements between EFE-Egypt and leading organizations, aimed at expanding collaborations and creating more employment opportunities for youth with:
•6th of October Investors Association, represented by Dr. Wael AlKhouly – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
•Shaghaliny and Peak Marine, represented by Rafik Hanna, CEO of Peak Marine, through a tripartite agreement
•Shaghaliny, and El Gouna Boat Service, represented by Amr El Husseiny, Director of After Sales, through a tripartite agreement
•Seoudi Supermarket, represented by Marwan Bastawy – Senior Employer Branding Specialist.

كان من أبرز محاور الأمسية توقيع عدة اتفاقيات شراكة بين مؤسسة التعليم من أجل التوظيف-مصر والجهات الرائدة لتعزيز التعاون وخلق المزيد من فرص التوظيف للشباب مع:
•جمعية مستثمري 6 أكتوبر، ممثلة بـ د. وائل الخولي – نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة
•شركة شغلني، وشركة بيك مارين، ممثلة بـ رافِق حنا – الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بيك مارين من خلال اتفاقية ثلاثية الأطراف
•شركة شغلني، وشركة الجونة بوت سيرفس، ممثلة بـ عمرو الحسيني – مدير ما بعد البيع من خلال اتفاقية ثلاثية الأطراف
•سوبرماركت سعودي، ممثلة بـ مروان بسطاوي – أخصائي أول للعلامة التجارية لصاحب العمل

During the evening, Appreciation Awards were presented to valued partners in recognition of their impactful contributions to youth empowerment and skills development:

كما تم تقديم جوائز التقدير للشركاء المميزين اعترافًا بمساهماتهم الفعّالة في تمكين الشباب وتطوير المهارات:

•تو بي

The event concluded with Closing Remarks by Eng. Abdelhameed Elkashef, Operations Manager at EFE-Egypt, who also served as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.

اختتم الحدث بـ كلمة ختامية من م. عبد الحميد الكاشف، مدير العمليات في مؤسسة التعليم من أجل التوظيف-مصر، الذي قام أيضًا بدور المُقدّم الرسمي للأمسية.

Together, through strong partnerships and a shared vision, EFE-Egypt continues to equip youth with the skills, opportunities, and pathways needed to succeed in today’s labor market.
